Back in 2011 I was homeless in Johannesburg
I lost my job. I couldn't pay rent. My landlord locked the door and told me to leave.
I had no money to go back home to Limpopo. I was sleeping in the street with nothing.
But I had my hands. I had my talent.
I picked up empty boxes from the dustbin and started building the art.
It took me 2 days. 2 days in the street, cutting cardboard with a scissor, creating art with my bare hands.
People started stopping. They were looking. They were taking pictures. They loved it.
Then this white man came. He looked at my house and asked me: "How much are you selling it for? I said "R250 .
He looked at me and said:My boy, your art is beautiful. Your art deserves more than R250. Don't ever give up on your talent."
He took out R700 and bought it for R700.
That R700 saved my life that day.i then went went to the MTN taxi rank taking a taxi back to Limpopo .
Today I am still building. Today I own Dzulieco Park.
Don't give up. Your talent will make a way when there is no way.
