On today’s Hedge Fund Telemetry note I explained why I have no interest in Tesla or SpaceX. And why Elon wants to merge his companies. It has to do with a change of control accelerated vesting eliminating all of the crazy awards hurdles with number of cars sold, robotaxis, FSD, robots, and market cap.

He also promised $5000 DOGE refund checks.
How’d that work out for everyone?

Also worth noting that Musk has a history of making philanthropic pledges and not following through.
In 2018, he pledged to “fund fixing the water in any house in Flint that has water contamination above FDA levels.” He did not.

Why "next year"? Why not now? Oh yeah, this is one of those things that won't happen.

Trevor Milton rolled a truck down a hill and went to prison for securities fraud.
Elon Musk dressed a drone up like a sports car and pretended to produce a flying car. He did it to help justify a desperate trillion dollar SpaceX-Tesla merger.

Elon Musk admitted to meeting frequently with Putin and his oligarchs.
Sanctioned Russian oligarchs held financial interests in SpaceX, and were shareholders in Musk’s purchase of X.
Putin has publicly praised Musk.
This is not a coincidence.

Alex Gibney: “A lot of these deaths related to Full Self Driving or Autopilot, 67 so far. If that had happened at GM over a brake malfunction, it would be massive congressional hearings. A lot of those things were settled so the actual facts of the matter wouldn’t come to light. In the film, we have the case of one which is a pedestrian who was killed by a runaway Tesla with malfunctioning Autopilot. They took that to trial and won a rather massive judgement and the evidence is overwhelming not only how bad the system was, but also how hard Tesla tried to hide the evidence of malfeasance. In a lot of cases, Autopilot has a function where milliseconds before the car slams into a wall, Autopilot will turn off, and so Tesla can say with a straight face Autopilot was not engaged at the time of the crash”

True.
You will be able to ask the Roadster to perform any of the tricks shown autonomously, as it will be sentient.
Also, we will have a wild looping track (crazier even than Hot Wheels) at our Texas HQ where you can test out your Roadster.

“Elon Musk approached Donald Trump with the idea of slowing down Starlink in Ukraine, The Telegraph can reveal.
The billionaire tech entrepreneur approached the US president with the proposal to introduce speed limits on the system, which hampered Ukraine’s drone defences, according to four sources familiar with the discussions.
One of the sources said Mr Trump “agreed” with Mr Musk’s suggestion, paving the way for the Pentagon to execute the slowdown on Starshield, the military-grade version of the satellite communications system.
