🇬🇧 BRITISH ‘PATRIOTS’ 🇬🇧 Let me educate you a little. Seen as though you care about the country so much. So there are many problems in the UK, however most of the time I see people that claim to support this country and claim to be ‘patriots’ barking up the wrong tree. Let’s use migrants your favourite hot topic as an example. In 2024-25 the UK government spent around about £4.0 billion on asylum support in 2024–25, which includes £2.1 billion on housing migrants. Let’s all agree, that’s a lot of money. Meanwhile however, HMRC estimates the entire UK tax gap at £59.2 billion in 2024–25. Of that, 35% was Corporation Tax, which is roughly £20.7 billion. £20,700,000,000 billion in unpaid taxes by Corporations in the UK. That’s almost the same annual budget for the entire Police force across the whole of the UK and around a third of its Military Budget. Another little fact, it’s expected on the Tax that corporations actually pay, immigrants pay anything from 10-30% more Tax into the budget to maintain the UK. If you care about the country so much, take a look at the real issues, not the trigger words people like Tommy Fucking Robinson use to manipulate you. If you strip the corporations of power, stop allowing them to control politicians, then real issue can be sorted out, crime can be fought correctly and the country becomes a better place. It’s all very heroic. But focus on what’s more beneficial to the cause. It’s astonishing watching you all get controlled like blind sheep. And what’s more, you are following people such as Nigel Farage that cost the UK £120,000,000,000 billion per year since 2020 when he forced Brexit through with the help of Russian propaganda and yours truly, yourself. Funny that isn’t it. You are complaining about the country then inadvertently help destroy it by Russian state sponsored fucking bafoons. Sort it out ffs.

Nigel, this needs rather more plumbing around the facts. 😂 Government funding rules explicitly say people here without lawful status are not eligible for Adult Skills Fund support. Asylum seekers can become eligible after six months while their claim is still pending. That is not the same thing as “illegal migrants”. And young Britons do not automatically pay thousands. Eligible 19 to 23-year-olds can get their first Level 2 or Level 3 fully funded, and unemployed or lower-earning adults can qualify too. Level 2 and Level 3 plumbing qualifications are actually on the Government’s Free Courses for Jobs list. So this isn’t “illegal migrants get free plumbing while Britons pay”. It is an eligibility scheme that Farage has converted into an immigration slogan. 😂 P.S This is posted by someone who works in the Eduction sector.

A major exchange was hacked and $1.5 billion was stolen and within 24 hours they were able to track it back to who stole it, unfortunately the money had already been moved off chain which is where the problem starts because the current financial system is not very transparent

I am very much against the far right and their abuse of crypto but I am a big fan of crypto and it’s advantages and this is not discussed when people talk about it in relation to the far right.

This system allows you to be able to trace exactly where money has gone and has gone to using something called block Explorer, for example Ethereum has Ethscan, solana has solscan and it goes on so it makes it far easier to track transactions

I get why people might be sceptical and mainly because of its use from the far right but something that keeps coming up is not quite right about crypto. Crypto is actually far more transparent than the current financial system as transactions can be tracked across all wallets.

Dear @andyburnham, A £36m donation to Reform You could have prevented this You could protect our democracy from being bought like this So, why did you drop plans to cap donations? We need you to reverse course on this now …before it’s too late.
NEW: Reform UK has received a record single donation of £36m from cryptocurrency billionaire Ben Delo in what will be seen as the Americanisation of British political funding. The astonishing sum comes after Andy Burnham last month dropped his support for capping the amount a person or organisation can give in a single donation. The PM may be regretting that now.

No doubt about it that United deserve to lose that game to city, it really didn’t have anything about them today. The issue is is that Enzo Fernández is clearly offside and is clearly trying to play the ball with a flying header

Time for the government to step in if all the issues around the RNLI are true. Let’s be real, the actual terrorist are Tommy 10 names and Danny Tommo and their merry bellends

Imagine needing a press release to remind the country that screaming at lifeboat crews is not, in fact, a coherent immigration policy.

In a difficult and dangerous world, a decade on from Brexit, there is a risk that Britain loses the confidence to lead and stand up for its values. I’m not prepared to let that happen. It is more important than ever that Britain stands for something. We have called for years for a two-state solution in the Middle East, but we must recognise that those words are meaningless unless we back them up with action. For too long, we have been hesitant to act, fearful of being accused of being anti-Israel. Today we are announcing carefully judged, targeted steps that are not aimed at the Israeli people, but at the unacceptable policies of the current Israeli government. The suffering of the Palestinian people is a scar on the conscience of the world. Innocent Palestinians, including children, continue to be killed in Gaza. And there is still a humanitarian crisis, with far too little aid getting in. The scale of destruction is hard to comprehend. More than 70,000 people lie dead - at least 20,000 of them children. Families and communities have been torn apart. Millions displaced. And the population of Gaza is now penned into just one third of the territory. I know that people across the UK feel very deeply about this issue - and so do I. Before I became Prime Minister, I said our country’s response had been too slow and simply not good enough. That’s why I committed to changing the government’s approach. I will not stand by as the horrific suffering continues to grow and the prospect of a two-state solution - the best hope for peace and stability in the region - comes under attack. More settlements have been approved under the four years of this Israeli government than in the previous 20 years. The UN has reported more than 1,500 incidents of settler violence so far this year, aimed at driving out Palestinians. And the situation is growing worse, fast. The Israeli government has now approved 104 new settlements since it took office in December 2022, and ahead of the October elections in Israel, it is allowing tenders for the construction of the E1 mega settlement to go ahead. This would cut a swathe through the heart of the West Bank - snuffing out the hope of realising a two-state solution. It cannot be allowed to happen. That’s why we are announcing a new package of tough measures to put pressure on the Israeli government: First, we will ban the trade in goods with illegal settlements in Palestine. Second, we have formally changed the view of the British government to say for the first time that the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory is unlawful - independent of, but in line with, the conclusion of the international court of justice. And third, we will sanction individuals and companies that support, facilitate or profit from illegal settlements. That includes any businesses or investors that take part in the construction of the E1 settlement. In addition, we are announcing a new package of desperately needed humanitarian aid to Gaza. We are taking these steps because it is the right thing to do. I have condemned the monstrous terrorist attack on Israel on 7 October 2023 in the strongest possible terms - and continue to condemn Hamas. However, it does not justify the Israeli government’s actions in Gaza or the West Bank. The measures we are taking are about targeting illegal settlements and increasing the pressure on the Israeli government to change course. We are not imposing sanctions on Israel as a whole, which would punish the Israeli people, many of whom disagree with their government’s position. The Israeli people are not responsible for the actions of their government. And nor is the Jewish community in the UK. Blaming British Jews for the actions of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is wrong, plain and simple. And it is antisemitism, plain and simple. I met the representatives of the Jewish community just last week. I know the fear they live with day by day. My government will stop at nothing to ensure they are safe and to stamp out antisemitism in every part of our society. The measures we are announcing today are about protecting the only solution that could see the Israeli and Palestinian people living side by side in peace and security - something that people up and down the UK desperately want to see. The government I lead will keep working with our partners around the world to keep that hope alive.
