Compassion just headlined Glastonbury⚡
At this year's @glastonbury, messages of HOPE took pride of place at the West Holts stage🧡
Everyday people want hope, not hostility. This government's cruel anti-refugee policies do not represent us.
#TogetherWithRefugees, always.

I cannot begin to express to you what a fundamental and all-consuming incompetent mess the Home Office is.
Nothing works. No system functions. Decisions might as well be made by llamas. Records are trash. Bureaucracy out of control.
And as always, the vulnerable pay the price.
Celebrating two of our wonderful volunteers yesterday!

@BBCNews interviewed Simpay Khalifa, stuck in a hotel near Wooten Bsssett. With great English & a very pleasant personality he'd be a great asset to any employer. On the left is Simpay during the interview. On the right is the photo they chose for the online story.
Communities thrive,
When refugees are welcomed in,
Love and hope will win.

Well done Bradford Council! #RefugeesWelcome #SayNoToAntiAsylumLaws
“Bradford stands against the anti-refugee laws and with refugees. Refugees are welcome here!”
Amazing & moving to hear passionate speeches from local leaders tonight as Bradford Council passed a motion pledging to fight the #AntiRefugeeLaws #CityofSanctuary 👏👏👏
We stand with refugees and people seeking safety.
@SuellaBraverman, @RishiSunak, your cruel and harmful policies are not in our name. We call on you to act with compassion.

It's happening again
The Home Office is having another go at setting up the first ARC (asylum reception centre) in the UK. They'll have another robust fight on their hands - will they lose again? Thanks to @Dianewriter as always for getting the story out.

Due to the heavy snow in Yorkshire, many plans have been cancelled. Jane Wood from @SharedGoods_ charity in #huddersfield tells us how the #snow has affected the relocation of her charity to a new space.
She hopes the snow reduces, and relocation can resume on Monday
