📣 No child should be forced to share hotel rooms with adults, but this is the reality as the Home Office begins its new hotel “maximisation" policy. In our work with unaccompanied children in adult accommodations we see this happen all too often. theguardian.com/uk-news/2023…

We stand with those forced to flee due to discrimination and persecution resulting from sexual orientation or gender identity. Rather than criticizing the Refugee Convention, Government must show humanity and ensure asylum seekers receive the protection they are entitled to!

Suella Braverman couldn’t be more mistaken: international refugee protection remains vital and urgent, today and tomorrow. Shutting the door on those seeking safety in the UK won’t stop people from having to flee their home, but will only push them into harm’s way.

📣Neither adults nor children should be criminalised for claiming asylum! This practice of holding age-disputed children in prison is deeply harmful and bars children's access to legal advice and services keeping them safe We need a humane asylum system theguardian.com/uk-news/2023…

43 humans have lost their lives in a tragic shipwreck off Italy. Our thoughts are with the loved ones of those lost in this tragedy. Until governments create safe routes for people to claim asylum, this completely preventable loss of life will continue. #chooselove
