Not only did teachers convert to remote learning in a matter of days at the outbreak of the covid-19 crisis, but they have been training to get prepared for the new reality in the next school year. Thoroughly professional, thoroughly impressive. irishtimes.com/news/educatio…

This is a terrific use of technology for today’s geographers and historians. Mapping perceptions, followed by analysis, interpretation and evaluation by pupils in SE setting is inspiring. Well Done Everyone. @SharedIreland @SharedEdLF @mariemccolgan
#GIS isn't just for Geographers!
Excited that the video of our Shared Ed trip to Derry/L'derry premieres today. This time GCSE Historians get to use the #edtech to explore each others' perceptions of iconic historic locations in the city.

I was always so impressed how this brought together all of the players in the education field, which is essential. I was proud to play a tiny part in this years ago @QUBelfast/@QUBSSESW, and so glad to see it continuing to grow in impact (and recognition!)! #education #leadership

So pleased that our work on Shared Education has received this award. This has been an amazing team effort, with academics, education officials, teachers and principals working collaboratively to transform our education system, and provide a model for other divided societies.
