☕ Great morning at Coffee with a Cop!
Huge thank‑you to The PNC Center and BOMA for hosting and partnering with us to bring the community together. We appreciate everyone who stopped by to talk, ask questions, and connect with our Downtown officers.
What a rejuvenating day. Kids are so awesome and the support from the entire school was so nice to be a part of.
One of the students told me he prays for Michael Wolley every day (not having any idea who that was) so we called Chief Wolley and they got to meet on the phone.
I’m excited for Chief Terry to lead our police department. She will be great for our officers, IMPD and our city. Congrats, Chief!
Thank you to everyone who came out to the community forum last night and thank you to @LoganGayMMJ for covering it.

Had a great chat with General Goodwin today learning about the Indiana War Memorials, the museum and mutual interests in public safety issues.
I learned they host 350 events a year with over 1M participants. This highlights the number of visitors we have DT every year.
It was 27 degrees outside and what did I decide to do? Go for a bike ride. And I’m glad a did. Fun afternoon with members of our community.
Trust me, I was bundled up.
Cmdr Foley and our bike unit joined the Central Indiana Bicycling Association, @HbD_IN, @IndyMPO, and @INCulturalTrail staff for a discussion of bicyclist safety and then took a ride on the Cultural Trail today. @BikeIndpls

The support from downtown community members and businesses is incredible. Our officers commented they lost a space to workout a few years ago and an apartment complex came through to fill that void.
💙 A huge thank you to Penrose on Mass Apts for generously allowing our DT district officers to use your gym to work out!
Your support helps us stay strong—physically and in community partnership. We’re grateful for your commitment to those who serve. 👮♂️🏋️♀️ #CommunitySupport

I’m very excited for this new role. I’m already downtown often in my day-to-day life. Downtown being and feeling safe isn’t just a job, it’s personal to me.

I couldn’t be more proud of our officers. This example is not just who this officer is as a police officer. This is how he is as a person.

Proud of our IMPD officers and detectives who stayed focused on our mission and not the noise. Their professionalism represents the best of our department. IMPD will continue to be a steady, reliable presence in our city because our community deserves nothing less.
This was so much fun. The kids were so inquisitive and were to happy to have a police officer read to them.
Capt Foley visited @IPSMerleSidener today to read a book to 1st graders and answer questions they had. They had a LOT of questions.
At the beginning 3 said they wanted to be police officers. 👮♀️ 👮 At the end, most of them wanted to be police officers…only 15 years to go.
Proud to share I’ve graduated from SMIP — an intensive executive leadership course with law enforcement leaders from across the country.
Grateful to @IMPD_Chief for investing in me, and thankful for the friendships, growth, and ideas I’m bringing back.

The work our officers brings me joy. I’m so proud of Officer Jones (who was a recruit when I was a Sgt at the academy) and appreciate the American Legion for supporting these recognition efforts.
