Fusiliers Arch, St Stephens Green – A place I have walked under countless times, but never really took notice of. This arch is an enigma for Dublin - a British Imperialist monument that has survived to this day, while others such as Nelsons Pillar & even King George's statues..~1

The 2020 group did excellent work despite the challenges of the year. Here their practical outputs only; their research work was overall superb by any measure. 2020.typefacedesign.net/inde… – at Reading, England

It’s for an exact reason - you can’t copyright ‘FOREST’ but you can copyright ‘FOReST’ hence why they did it back in the 70’s when they changed the badge.

Preparing for an online class today, our 1780 copy of Dr Jonson's famous Dictionary opened on this word by chance. We NEVER comment on politics and this should not be read as applying to anything happening in the world this very day. It's just dull old history and etymology.

I keep seeing agencies and graphic design studios falling on the same type choices over & over and wonder if they would hire someone to give consultancy/ help pick less known, more adequate typefaces... cause I’d love to do that when not drawing my own stuff.

Unpopular opinion: #academic research is not utilized much in the #design industry. And a huge amount of people in the industry don't even know about academic #research. Which is usually a good starting point when you are trying to solve problems which you feel are brand new.
