There are rappers who won't openly admit just how lyrical and technical 2Pac was because they are aware of the false narratives and they use them to their advantage. They know that they have a better chance at being viewed as greater lyricists and technicians than as rappers or artists in general due to the false narratives about Pac. They have no interest in debunking the false narratives because they are still in competition with him, even many of his students. They would rather steal from his work secretly than to acknowledge his sharp technical skills and really sing his praises and go into detail about how great his lyricism was. Crooked I is not one of them.
