Yesterday, we were in Edmonton to formally celebrate the expansion of @BlueJays 50/50 to Alberta! To date, Albertans have raised more than $1.2 million supporting baseball across the province 🎉 As part of the celebration, we hosted a Challenger Baseball clinic alongside @bluejaysacademy. Thank you to @DaleNally_AB and Andrew Knack for hosting us and speaking about the continued impact 50/50 will make on Alberta communities!

We headed over to the Business Council of Alberta for a quick stop, then continued our Stampede travels with Minister Dale Nally to sample some of True Wild Distilling’s Alberta made premium whisky. We’re incredibly proud of the world class whisky being produced right here in our province, which is why we unveiled the brand new Alberta Whisky label that will appear on bottles moving forward. We then joined our incredible ranchers and food producers at the Alberta Beef Summit with Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Tara Sawyer to celebrate the hardworking men and women who help feed Alberta and the world.

I picked up my new Alberta driver’s licence today. 🚗 It now includes my Alberta Health Care number and proof of Canadian citizenship, all on one convenient card. Albertans can visit their local registry today and make the switch!

One Card. That’s it. Starting July 2, Albertans can get a new driver’s licence or ID card that includes their healthcare number and proof of citizenship, all on one secure card at no additional cost. No more flimsy paper cards. No more carrying multiple pieces of ID. Just a common-sense change that makes life easier.
