Bitcoin traded below $80.3K. The 3-day close did not confirm the break. In our last 3-day update, we said a completed close below $80.3K would mean the short-term decline was resuming. Bitcoin traded as low as $79.7K during the October 13–15 period. But it recovered nearly $2.5K from that low and closed the 3-day candle at $82.2K, up 0.5%. That distinction matters: an intraperiod break is not the same as a confirmed break by close. The short-term structure still hasn’t repaired. Recent 3-day highs have stepped down from roughly $85.6K → $84.3K → $84.1K, while recent lows have also moved lower. The new $79.7K low is not yet confirmed as a new 3-day structural low. It can become one only if the October 16–18 candle does not trade below it. The broader weekly picture remains constructive for now: the last weekly close stayed above the 50-week trend average near $78.4K. That average moves each week. What matters next • 3-day close below ~$79.7K: the short-term decline resumes. • 3-day close above ~$84.3K: first evidence of short-term strengthening. • 3-day close above $87.2K: the 3-day structure becomes ascending again. • Weekly close below the 50-week trend average near $78.4K: the broader constructive weekly read requires reassessment. These are observation levels, not entries, stops, or price targets. October 18, 23:59 UTC: both the 3-day and weekly candles close. Confirmation over prediction.

Bitcoin’s Weekly Weakness Persisted. The Key Trend Still Held. Bitcoin closed the week at $82.0K, down 2.0%, after trading as low as $79.7K. That makes two consecutive weeks of lower highs and lower lows. The deterioration we flagged last week persisted. But it still hasn’t become a confirmed weekly breakdown. The latest weekly close remained above the major weekly trend averages we track, including the 50-week average near $78.5K. There is also an important development on the shorter timeframe. The $79.7K low is now confirmed as the new 3-day structural low, slightly below the previous $80.3K low. But the next 3-day candle did not make another low. It traded only between roughly $80.6K and $82.9K, entirely inside the previous candle’s range. In plain English: the weakness persisted, but the market moved into compression rather than extending the decline. What matters next • 3-day close above ~$82.9K: first evidence of strengthening. • 3-day close above ~$84.3K: stronger evidence of short-term repair. • 3-day close above $87.2K: the 3-day structure becomes ascending again. • 3-day close below ~$79.7K: the short-term decline resumes. • Weekly close below the 50-week average near $78.5K: the broader constructive weekly read requires reassessment. These are observation levels, not entries, stops, or price targets. Next 3-day close: October 21, 23:59 UTC. Next weekly close: October 25, 23:59 UTC. Confirmation over prediction.

Bitcoin’s 3-Day Decline Paused. The Structure Hasn’t Repaired. In our weekly read, we said a 3-day close below $82.5K — Bitcoin’s price at the end of each 3-day period — would weaken the short-term picture. That happened. The October 12 close came in at $81.8K, down about 1%. But Bitcoin did not fall below the recent $80.3K low. That low is now confirmed as the new structural low on the 3-day chart. The decline paused. The short-term structure has not repaired. Recent pullback lows have moved from roughly $82.5K to $80.3K, while recent highs have also moved lower. The bigger weekly picture remains constructive for now: the last weekly close stayed above the 50-week trend average near $78.4K. What matters next • 3-day close above $87.2K: the short-term structure becomes ascending again. • 3-day close below $80.3K: the short-term decline resumes, and the weekly thesis comes under more direct pressure. • Weekly close below the 50-week trend average near $78.4K: the broader constructive weekly read requires reassessment. These are observation levels, not entries, stops, or price targets. This is a short-term, days-level read. Next 3-day close: October 15, 23:59 UTC. Next weekly close: October 18, 23:59 UTC. Bitcoin broke below $82.5K during the latest 3-day candle. But the close tells a more nuanced story. BTC fell to $80,325 on October 7–9, then recovered to close at $82,582 — just $51 above the previous structural low at $82,531. That means the level held on a closing basis. But it wasn't a clean show of strength. The 3D printed a lower high and a lower low, interrupting the previous sequence of rising lows. The short-term structure has weakened, even without a confirmed close below $82.5K. My read: the recovery is now under greater short-term pressure. The last completed weekly structure (October 4) remains constructive, but the 3D is no longer offering the same support to that interpretation. Those two observations are not contradictory. They reflect different timeframes. What would change the read? • A completed 3D close below $82.5K would confirm the loss of the previous structural low on a closing basis. • A recovery above $85.6K on a completed 3D close would strengthen the shorter-term picture. • A weekly close below roughly $78K, around the 50-week EMA at the last completed weekly close, would require a broader reassessment of the constructive weekly view. The next weekly candle closes October 11. The next 3-day candle closes October 12, both at 23:59 UTC. The key distinction: Bitcoin has weakened structurally on the 3D, but the larger weekly recovery has not yet been overturned by a completed weekly close. A quieter session on purpose. The range is already defined. Intraday moves can look dramatic without changing the structural read. What matters most now is where the current 3-day candle closes — today at 23:59 UTC. Until then, the path can move the conversation. The close carries the evidence. Yesterday’s Article has the levels and scenarios:

Bitcoin’s Oct 1–3 candle closed at $84,745, up 1.4% from the previous 3-day close and 2.8% below its $87,224 high. SENTINEL identified a new 3-day pivot low at $82,531, formed on Sep 28–30 and confirmed after the following candle closed. Two points to watch on the chart: the latest candle’s high and the newly established structural pivot. The Oct 4–6 candle closes on Oct 6 at 23:59 UTC. Its completed range and close will show whether BTC trades beyond either reference or remains between them. Confirmation over prediction.

Remember that Turkish F-16 that was reportedly shot down by a Greek Mirage 2000 in 1996? Well, here’s what it must have looked like from the Mirage’s cockpit 👀 The actual 1996 shootdown remains disputed, but the imagery is a pretty good reminder that the Mirage could yank and bank with the best of them.

A higher monthly close and a softer 3-day candle can both be true. Bitcoin closed September 6.4% higher, while the final 3-day candle of September fell 1.1%. That isn’t a contradiction. The monthly close tells us how September finished relative to August. The 3-day close describes the final three days of the month. They measure different periods, so they can describe different parts of the same market move. A completed monthly candle and a completed 3-day candle answer different questions. Read each on its own timeframe.

September gave Bitcoin three different signals: the month closed 6.4% higher the final 3-day candle closed at $83,572.61 that 3-day close still finished above $81,473.87 ETF inflows slowed into month-end So September ended stronger on price, but with a softer short-term finish. That distinction matters. The full article breaks down what was established, what changed at the end of the month, and what the next completed candles need to clarify. xitter.cf/SentinelBTC214/status/…

At the Sep. 30 close, one Bitcoin level matters more to me than anything price does inside the candle. $87.4K remains the structural resistance in focus. A completed 3-day close above it would give the structural-break interpretation more weight. A close that remains below it would leave that confirmation unresolved — not automatically bearish, simply unconfirmed. September’s monthly candle closes at the same time, adding a second completed higher-timeframe observation. Until 23:59 UTC, intraperiod moves are information. The close is what changes the weight of the evidence.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF inflows are still positive this week — but the pace has cooled sharply. After about $2.4B of net inflows across Sep. 21–25, the first two sessions of this week totaled just $97.2M: +$31.0M on Sep. 28 +$66.2M on Sep. 29 Why it matters: last week’s cumulative total was strong, but it no longer describes the current pace. Flows can remain positive while marginal inflows slow materially. That is context — not a price forecast.

The next important Bitcoin evidence arrives at the Sep. 30 close (UTC). Two higher-timeframe candles finish at the same time: Bitcoin’s 3-day candle and September’s monthly candle. They answer different questions. The 3-day close will show whether BTC can actually finish above the $87.4K structural resistance now in focus. The monthly close gives us the completed September bar — not an intramonth snapshot. Until those candles close, moves inside them are information, not confirmation.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $2.4B of net inflows across Sep. 21–25. But the daily pace slowed from +$999M at the start of the window to +$134.5M by Sep. 25. Why it matters: a strong cumulative total can coexist with a cooling marginal pace. So “strong inflows” describes the total — not the trajectory. ETF flows add context. They do not tell us what price does next.
