My appreciation of Bernard Hepton has only really become a thing in the last 5 years but my oh my he is great. Albert is one of those great classic complex TV characters - stunning.

Van der Valk - Dead on Arrival (24th October 1977). Bob Hoskins, Pamela Salem, Michael Culver and Richard Davies feature in today's episode.

The mighty Bernard Hepton would have been 101 today. Incredible to think that if Mike Hodges hadn't coaxed him back from his brief stint behind the camera to play Thorpey in Get Carter, we'd never have seen him in Colditz (also 54 years old today), Secret Army, Tinker Tailor...

The Great Storm of 1987 wipes out power across London, forcing TV-am to broadcast from the continuity desk at Thames, and Nicholas Witchell from the BBC's 'broom cupboard'.

I'd like to note for people who may not know, it's FREE! I went expecting maybe a £30 ticket, but was amazed you could just walk right in. Of course, I easily spent way more on books in the gift shop. And am happy to support all the Imperial War Museums!

The way Stephanie played Dr Mason was masterful. Hopelessly stuck in the closet, it was never explicitly stated but Stephanie's brilliant acting told you clearly.

Thanks for the memories AJ @SecretArmyPod
One previously unreleased interview left to share is with the fabulous @AlisonGlennie!
We chatted about playing Kessler’s daughter, working with Clifford Rose, bee stings, & more! And she kindly shared some amazing photos from filming such as this one:
