the higher the elo on faceit, you are less likely to get annoying teammates, but when you do, holy fuck the level of stupidity is through the roof, soloQ faceit is like a bootcamp for the mind
in my opinion the only right decision from valve, happy for my former teammates 🙏
Valve issues exception for BC.Game to qualify for Singapore Major through Asia hltv.org/news/45666/valve-is…
Counter-Strike has been my life for more than 20 years. I have enormous respect for Valve and for what they have built around this game. I will never communicate about their decisions disrespectfully, even when I disagree with one.
BC game has a clear objective in Counter-Strike: build a team capable of consistently competing at Tier 1 events and eventually fighting for the biggest trophies. We also understand that getting there takes time.
A lot has been said about our roster decisions recently, so I want to give some context.
When we signed Senzu and Mzinho, the objective was never to "become an Asian team." We signed them because we genuinely believe they are two of the biggest talents in Counter-Strike — not just in Asia, but globally.
At the same time, people sometimes underestimate how difficult moving into an English-speaking international team can be. Even biggest talents need time to adapt to a new language, system and environment.
More recently, we signed ASAP from Australia.
That move resulted in BC game being assigned to the Asian VRS, and immediately we were called "rule abusers".
I'll be transparent: Major qualification was one of the factors behind the decision.
Our previous results were not good enough, we believed a roster change was necessary, and competing for the Major through the Asian ranking gave us a better opportunity. The Major is also one of the few tournaments where a strong result can dramatically accelerate a team position in the VRS.
But there was another condition from my side.
We did extensive scouting of the APAC scene, and I made one thing very clear internally — even if it put my own position at risk:
We would not change regions simply for the sake of changing regions.
We would only sign a player if we believed he had the level and potential to genuinely improve our team, and stay competetive.
We followed the rules that existed at the time, built an eligible roster and subsequently appeared in the Asian VRS.
That is why introducing a new three month regional restriction at this point of the Major qualification cycle, and applying it immediately to the upcoming Major, is difficult for me to accept.
I can understand the purpose behind the rule.
What is difficult is the timing.
Teams and players make roster decisions, sign contracts, travel around the world and plan their competitive calendars according to the regulations that exist at that moment. Changing those rules shortly before qualification creates a dangerous precedent for organisations that make decisions based on the rules in place at the time.
Nothing was guaranteed for us.
We still had to perform.
We still had to earn the points.
And we still could have failed to qualify from either Europe or Asia.
We will communicate with Valve, respect whatever final decision is made, and focus on what we can control.
We have upcoming events to play, a young roster that still needs time together, and the same objective we had from day one:
Earn our way into Tier 1 Counter-Strike and compete for trophies.
loving this content from ESL, well done

bless all the people uploading tutorials on youtube
for real the amount of tutorials I've watched for litterally anything, especially smaller accounts with less than 500 subs is crazy, there's a special place in heaven for this kind of people 🙏
Would be crazy to count out a team who made it from scratch to reaching Cologne this year, a team which came back from 0-12 with their backs against the wall when it mattered the most. Consistency is hard to master, but even if the odds are slim, I still believe they'll make it
Our run ends with today’s loss to Astralis. Yesterday’s defeat to Luminosity was incredibly close and painful. Believe us, we’re just as sad and frustrated as you are. The players feel it too. Losing a game like that hurts.
We all see the same things. We need to improve our awareness and understand why we’re losing rounds that should be almost impossible to lose. We’ll review these games properly, be honest about our mistakes and work on them. Then we look ahead and go again.
We’re not giving up. We still have two tournaments ahead of us and a chance to reach the Major. We know we need to step up, and we’ll do everything we can to make it happen.
Thank you to everyone who keeps supporting us. Round by round, map by map, game by game, tournament by tournament. We’ll keep fighting until it’s over.

Faceit feels like a social experiment these days, the amount of toxicity + stupidity that I‘m witnessing is beyond my understanding
Dear @FACEITcs @FACEIT @FACEIT_Darwin 🚨
i have a few things i believe FACEIT needs to improve:
- "Dodge Problem" - People dodge lobbys whenever they feel like its a hard game/loss and they just instantly get unbanned.
Improvement: Keep unbanning them, but there should be a punishment in form of -Elo (-15/20 Elo)
- "Elo Resets'' - ELO resets create massive inflation: high ELO players lose too much, low-ELO players lose too little, and over time good and bad players end up at the same ELO.
Improvement: "Low" ELO Players need to get resetted in a similar way.
- "no microphone needed" - So far you are not forced to use a microphone in FACEIT. Its a "professional" league where people want to try hard and improve. CS is a team game and a microphone is necessary.
Improvement: - Force everyone to use a microphone.
- "Solo/Duo Prem Queue" - Currently people can only play Solo/Duo in Prem. Before it used to be 3man lobbys. The skill level was way higher with trio lobbys and i feel like more "good" players used to grind.
Improvement: Bring back Trio Prem Queue.
- "5 map Queue " - Before it was possible to queue only 3maps now you have to queue 5 maps and people dont even know how to play 5 maps properly.
Improvement: Bring back 3 map queue.
- "blocklist" - With premium you can block 5/10 people.
Improvement: Add atleast 5-10 more slots to the blocklist.
There are way more problems obviously, but i feel like its possible to work on these things easily.
Cheers
