If the Dodgers trade and potentially resign Tarik Skubal, they will have nearly a Half a Billion dollars on their payroll. 200 million higher than any NFL team. 300 million higher than an NBA team. Yes, their farm system and front office are excellent. They deserve credit for the play on the field as well as for their player development/management…. But, 6x the payroll size of teams like MIA and CLE… 4x that of teams like TB, STL, CHW, WSH and MIN 3x higher than HALF the MLB Double the payroll size of every team outside the top 5… I love baseball. I just don’t love this part.

Luis Arraez is my favorite player in the MLB right now. The Giants have been hit or mostly miss to start the year. He would get a MVP vote from me if the Giants could put some wins together.

Buying some land in Jamal Cain Canyon while it’s still cheap. Him being a legit rotation piece in Orlando was something I was not anticipating… Giving me major Mickaël Pietrus vibes.
