it’s amazing that a lot cannot look at history and realise the west was the bad guys. You can’t look at the history of the last 400 years and not see who was the genocider of the world poking noses into other peoples land, killing them. ruling them, stealing, colonising.

General trend of polls suggest Scotland split almost 50/50 with probably a small yes lead.
what we now know is many scots are nervous ninnies who would accept the total shitshow the uk has been for about 17 years rather then take a leap into the future. I only believe about 33% are diehard idealogical identity unionists. The other 15% are just faint hearts

snp need to start to sell indy with broadest possible appeal.Cant capture a majority by only appealing to the left. I say that as a lefty.Its got to appeal to the majority of the middle too. The middle is about 50% of the electorate. Folk who are neither poor nor top 20%.
this is ok but the snp could get a much higher share if they turbo charged the indy campaign and tactics because there are about a third of pro indy people not voting snp on that poll. And they aren’t voting for any other pro indy party either

my prediction -labour will lose the Burnhan bounce once the public see he’s v good at making dramatic statements but that is all. The only way next WM won’t be a hung parl is if they say they’ll rejoin the EU and drag in a spectrum of pro EU people who rarely vote Labour
electoral reality is the SNP have to now put something v different down on next manifesto re indy. Even if only to expose WM and the union for what it is - something like the Catalans did. I’ve been ok about holding off until indy polls r better but the time has come
