Opinion: Jim Banks is still playing the role of Trump's truest believer. Diego Morales knows how quickly that act can change. indystar.com/story/opinion/c…
Thank you for your service to our country, thank you for your service to @indystar subscribers, thank you for your candor and intelligence, and willingness to share with your readers.
I will miss your columns.
I'm overwhelmed by the kind words so many have offered on my departure (and chuckled at a few 'good riddance' comments as well).
The @The_IN_Citizen is performing an important public service and deserves your attention and support.

Will you be writing a column for another newspaper or online publication?Congratulations on your new job but I will miss your @indystar columns. Huge loss for @indystar subscribers.
Some professional news: I retire from @ballstate and move to @ShenandoahU as director of their school of business and the Eldon R. Lindsey professor of economics.
Too many good things to say about both schools to attempt it here.

Donald Trump ran for office for three reasons:
1) stay out of jail
2) exact revenge on his enemies
3) line his pockets
Everything else he says is bullshit.

This folks, is leadership.
Don’t have to agree with him, don’t have to like him, but he is doing what he thinks best for Indiana rather than appeasing someone who doesn’t live here.

I graduated from @butleru in 2014. It’s now 12 years later and I’m getting married this weekend in South Carolina. Somehow, my former college advisor, @ScoBridge found my registry and got us a gift.
The Butler connection truly lasts forever. One of a kind community.
This award is a testament to the incredible work ethic and professionalism of @rogergrossman1 but Roger’s impact on the Warsaw community is even more noteworthy. Roger is a pillar of that city and the Warsaw school system. Everyone knows, admires, and respects Roger.
It would wrong to let this life-changing day go by without thank you's to @butleru @ButlerCCom and specifically @ScoBridge for giving a small town kid with a squeaky voice and no experience a chance to make it.
And thank you, God. YOU made this all happen!
Nvm @GCNNow . At 5am you prioritized that riveting infomercial about floor cleaning over NBC’s live coverage of the US attack on Venezuela. Smh
Thank you @GCNNow NBC2 for being only Fort Myers network affiliate to go live overnight with coverage of US-Venezuela conflict.

As Trump apparently is launching a military attack against Venezuela, it sure would be nice to have a functioning legislative branch right now.

Thank you to the PR staffs of the @Colts and @IndyEleven for allowing my @IUMediaSchool students to cover games this semester. Looking forward to spring semester where they will cover the @pacers, @IndyIgniteVB and the NCAA Final Four, Division II, III and NIT championship games
Excited to see @ButlerUWBB play in the Fort Myers Tip-Off this week and seeing my @butleru @ButlerAthletics friends!

It’s not a good look when Indiana Governor Mike Braun and Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith both rush to post about the Mark Sanchez matter to score political points, before they have all the facts. Then they quietly delete their posts. We’re better than this. Maybe we’re not.

No. 11 Indiana defeated Iowa on the road in a gutty 20-15 win. Our own @nickrodecap and @avawegenke give their takeaways of Saturday's game from Kinnick Stadium. #iufb

Child-like behavior from Trump. The guy told him exactly what he wanted to hear, and our narcissistic, thinskinned, insecure leader lapped it up and then repeated it back to the state TV stenographers. Hard to fully comprehend how gullible and easily manipulated Trump is. Amazing

Pam Bondi in February: The Epstein client list is sitting on my desk right now to review.
Pam Bondi today: There is no Epstein client list and no "further disclosure" of Epstein-related material "would be appropriate or warranted."

The last few days have truly been a low point for the American news media. And it’s all because journalists in this country—and their corporate masters—lack the courage to say what they all know and say endlessly in private:
That @realDonaldTrump is stupid, and nuts.
This shouldn’t be hard. But they make it so, for their readers, viewers, listeners, and the country as a whole. Most of the rest of the world got over this long ago.
