Hard no. Project management requires cross-functional work and soft skills which grad school (specially STEM) does not prepare you for. Also why you won’t see many new grads getting PM roles straight out of PhD. A completed dissertation means you completed a dissertation.

Knowing how to write SQL is a superpower if you happen to be in a product and/or marketing role. Mainly because these roles require constant query of metrics and many popular project management tools have their own CLI. For example JIRA has an in-built version of SQL called JQL.
