Teacher in my PLC: We shouldn't be counting the notes as a grade because that's just a formative grade and is just measuring compliance.
Same teacher shares a lesson with the group that includes a small grade for the check in question of "what did you do last weekend?"

Teachers should not have to work well beyond contracted hours (unpaid) just to get things done. Then we wonder why there is a 50% attrition every 5 years. This year will be off the charts if we don’t change expectations. We need state and district leaders to step up for teachers.
