Today, SceneForge officially launched on the App Store. 🎉
What started as an idea became months of designing, rebuilding, testing, learning Apple's review process, refining the UI, improving accessibility, and polishing every detail.
The biggest lesson?
The final product is almost always better because of the iterations along the way.
I'm incredibly excited to finally put SceneForge into the hands of filmmakers, storytellers, YouTubers, and creators.
Thank you to everyone who encouraged me throughout the journey.
On to the next chapter. 🎬

Most creators don’t need more ideas.
They need a clearer path from idea → scene → shot → final frame.
That’s what I built SceneForge for.
A cinematic production blueprint for creators who want to spend less time figuring out how to make something — and more time actually making it.
The idea is yours. The blueprint is SceneForge.

The hardest part of making a film isn't always the camera.
Sometimes it's figuring out what the camera should actually see.
A scene can exist in your head perfectly—and still fall apart when you try to turn it into shots.
That's why I built SceneForge.
Not to make the creative decisions for you.
To help turn the ones you've already made into something you can actually shoot.
The idea comes first.
The blueprint follows.

Pleased to reveal @neonrated's trailer for David Greaves’s ONCE UPON A TIME IN HARLEM, which revisits footage shot in 1972 by his father, William Greaves, at a gathering of Harlem Renaissance luminaries.
Find Greaves in conversation with Garrett Bradley in our fall issue!
The hardest part of making something isn't always having the idea.
It's seeing the path from “I want to make this” to “I know how to make this.”
That's the space SceneForge is built for.
Story → structure → scenes → shots → something you can actually make.
Less guessing what comes next.
More clarity around the thing you're trying to create.
Create with intention. Then bring it to life. 🎬

Most creators don't need more ideas.
They need a clearer path from the idea in their head to the thing they actually want to make.
That's why I built SceneForge.
Before the camera rolls, I want to know:
What is this scene trying to make someone feel?
What should the camera see?
How should the moment move?
What happens next?
AI can generate a lot of things.
But I believe the creator should still be the one directing the vision.
SceneForge is built around that idea.
Create with intention.
Then bring it to life.

Most creators don't struggle because they lack ideas.
They struggle because every video lives only in their head.
The camera angle.
The pacing.
The transitions.
The emotional beat.
None of it exists until production starts.
That's where time disappears.
I built SceneForge because I wanted every video to exist as a complete production blueprint before the camera ever rolled.
Creativity shouldn't begin with chaos.
It should begin with clarity.
That's the idea behind SceneForge.

Ambitious people are often the loneliest, not because they push others away, but because most people can't keep pace

Are you actually waiting for the "right time," or are you just waiting until you can guarantee you won't fail?
SceneForge helps creators turn ideas into production-ready cinematic blueprints complete with scenes, pacing, visual prompts, and director-focused planning.
SceneForge started as a POV story generator.
It's becoming something very different.
Every concept now generates:
• Episode Defining Images
• Visual Thesis Statements
• Signature Shots
• Director Notes
• Scene Reasoning
• Production-Ready Breakdowns
The goal isn't just writing stories.
The goal is helping creators think like directors.

What you're seeing in these screenshots started as a single prompt:
"A lone astronaut repairing a broken satellite as oxygen runs out."
SceneForge expanded it into an entire cinematic treatment.

Most AI tools generate content.
We're teaching ours to think like a director.
Not just:
• What happens next?
But:
• Why does this scene exist?
• Which image defines the story?
• Which frame would survive if every other frame disappeared?
• What emotion should the audience carry into the next scene?
Storytelling changes when you stop generating scenes and start making cinematic decisions.
