This might be hard to perceive but this is a meter and a half below the surface of a marsh this should really be waist deep in anoxic mid but it's solid underfoot. Really crazy

Hard to see but this is a 3m wide saltmarsh with much of its vertical zonation within this photo. Coastal squeeeeeeeeeze

Final days for the @CumbriaUni geography trip to France, with huge thanks to @MeropsField was able to see many firsts for me over the week. But hard to top a natural bridge, super cute jumping spiders and goat based traffic in the ardeche.
