With a little of the funding from the SLIF project, Let me tell you a story, pupils involved with the sessions with @strangelymagic got to choose a copy of one of Victoria's books. Not everyone was keen on a photo but all were delighted with their book!

Back home in Ayrshire last year I was privileged to do some secondary school visits & see at first hand the difference a school library & dedicated librarian can make in the life of students. Please sign this petition & help save North Ayrshire’s school libraries…

I've had a wonderful week of school visits organised by dedicated school librarians, but very sad to see yet another Scottish council is taking the short-sighted step of cutting school librarians. Please sign this petition to protest these cuts to pupils' literacy opportunities.
