For reference, the existing emulator (devos50.github.io/blog/2023/…) only goes up to iOS 2 and it was a bitch and a half to get iOS 3 working, but it works

Update: Apple has now broken activation for:
iPhone 4 (GSM) (iPhone3,1)
iPhone 4 (GSM, 2012) (iPhone3,2)
iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G (GSM) (iPad2,2)
If you restore these devices, you will not be able to activate them at the moment.

Uhh so I just found a sandbox escape that lets you edit MobileGestalt on iOS 27, thanks to GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra. Not a drill! Evidence is Dynamic Island on an iPhone 11. Nothing to do with usbliter8 – done entirely from a sandboxed app. Maybe hold until 27 is public?
