Apple “turns old iPhones into paperweights” by “banning” Factory Resets youtu.be/WYkCc_kZLbU
*Due to Apple unsigning baseband for iPhone 5/4(s)/SIM iPad 4/3/2. This prevents factory reset/software update via PC (iTunes/Finder)
Big thanks to @aaronp613 for breaking the news & updates
To prevent any confusion, your existing legacy iPhone will work fine. However, if for whatever reason you need to reinstall iOS (messed up Jailbreak, phone bootlooping etc), this is not possible anymore, and your legacy iPhone/iPad is bricked.
Apple has also unsigned iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 8.4.1. They still show up in software update though. Be advised, it's possible trying such update will just brick the iPhone/iPad you try that on!

I remember a week or two before Michael getting sued by Apple was public, he tried contacting me on two separate numbers. Assumed he was asking for money.
IMO he is a man of extremely poor character. I hope Apple makes his life miserable for as long as possible 🎉

While updating from iOS 27 B1 to B2 seems to hide it, if updating from iOS 26.5 to iOS 27 B2 it shows but with a different name
While I love unc0ver, it was the legendary release of Rootless Jailbreak by Jake James that changed the course of my life. Shortly after releasing on 2/3rd Feb 2019, my channel blew up. That release & its impact has always meant the world to me
