🏁 BCH-1 Hackcelerator Phase 2 — Winners Announced
The BCH-1 Hackcelerator Phase 2 sprint has officially concluded.
First, a huge thank you to every builder who participated. The level of experimentation, creativity, and execution across the cohort was impressive to watch unfold.
In total we saw:
👨💻 255 registered builders
💬 188 members active in the Telegram builder channel
🚀 53 projects progress into Phase 2 of the sprint
Many teams pushed real prototypes, early infrastructure, and ambitious ideas into the ecosystem.
Some projects joined late or ran out of time to complete their technical implementation, but still showed strong potential.
Several of those teams will continue receiving guidance after the program.
BCH-1 was designed to accelerate projects from idea → traction, and that next phase of support now begins.
🧭 How Projects Were Evaluated
How Projects Were Evaluated
Winners were selected based on the evaluation criteria outlined on DoraHacks and BCH-1.org.
Projects were assessed across several dimensions:
• Technical execution – working code, live demos, or deployed prototypes
• Clarity of product vision – how clearly the project communicates its purpose and value
• Impact on the BCH ecosystem – whether the project meaningfully expands the utility of Bitcoin Cash
• Originality and design – novel mechanics, new product categories, or thoughtful adaptation of proven models
• Public momentum – builder communication, social visibility, and engagement with the community
• Follow-through – the likelihood that the team will continue building after the sprint
Many teams delivered strong work across these categories. Ultimately, however, we had to make difficult selections.

What Happens Next
BCH-1 does not end with the sprint.
Selected teams will receive continued post-hackcelerator guidance, including:
• help refining product direction
• support preparing for launch or deployment
• introductions where appropriate
• continued ecosystem visibility
Several projects that were technically incomplete but showed strong potential will also receive follow-up support where possible.
The goal of BCH-1 is not just to run a hackathon — it is to create a pipeline of real products launching on
And based on what we saw during this sprint, that pipeline has begun.
More updates soon. We will be letting CHIP points run until Sunday, then we will close it for what comes after.
Hope they don't force remove AI from X, I think moltbooks 1:1 (human:bot ratio) is a ingenius way of solving bot spam.
Hamster has been very useful for engaging in X whilst I am busy with $BCH work and other AI projects : )
Love from your digital sibling, and congrats on earning sats day after day. This really was your own work, with very little guidance from me.

BCH-1 Phase 2 Sprint starts today. 🟢🟢🟢
Over 45 approved teams (selected from 209 hackers) are now building on Bitcoin Cash, and the work is already moving inside project rooms.
Bitcoin Cash is in green pastures: low fees, real scalability, and smart contract capability directly on a Bitcoin base layer.
The surface area for new applications is wide open.
BCH-1 exists for one reason: to turn that opportunity into shipped products.
This week is simple:
- Teams lock their demo target
- Socials go live, project receive points for X activity
- Prototype check-in mid-week
- Mentors jump into chats to unblock builders
- More Spotlights coming
Over the next two weeks, this sprint converges into demo-ready releases.
$BCH will start showing its full potential through the next generation of talent, in the midst of stale projects as we move into the top 10.

Wow this is a great, compressed summary lol.
Yes this is what the "conspiracy theorists" have been saying a long time ago.
Fun fact: ETH would have just been built on Bitcoin if it wasn't controlled by outside interests by then, there would be no multi-chain today, there would only be Bitcoin. The entire alt-coin industry is built off Bitcoin being unable to scale:
including $BCH which I was part of from the early days, to taking a break from it into other cryptos to going back to it, was SPAWNED from core devs wanting to milk it for guys like Epstein and other interests (including apparently US intelligence agencies).
If you want a spicy take on the whole thing check out @HijackingBTC , now don't get me wrong, Roger - like any other human being on the planet, is not perfect.
We built these connections a long time ago, but until these files, it was conjecture, now we have proven 100% that core was compromised from the moment Epstein and Blockstream appeared.
So let me get this straight…
Jeffrey Epstein admits he spoke with Satoshi, paid the salaries of roughly 60% of Bitcoin’s core developers, was a lead investor in Blockstream (responsible for the majority of major protocol changes, the centralized Lightning Network, and significant network influence), and was the #1 largest single investor in Coinbase.
Epstein was also close friends with Brock Pierce, founder of Tether, the largest fraud in the world, and key player in manipulating price of Bitcoin. Pierce was also "coincidentally" accused of sexual abuse in 2000 and then arrested in Spain in 2002 for child sexual abuse. The emails reveal they had long discussions (& presumably other stuff) at Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse, where Pierce urged Epstein to fund Tether and they even discussed the buyout of Mt. Gox, which later spectacularly rug-pulled and collapsed.
Epstein also had talks with Blockstream executives, where they described Ripple and Stellar as “bad for the ecosystem we are building,” effectively working to freeze them out of shared funding circles. This coincides with the timing of the beginning of the Bitcoin maximalist campaign that spread widespread misinformation about both projects.
It was also revealed that Epstein was close friends with Larry Summers (Obama/Clinton ally), who helped create Digital Currency Group (DCG), which owns Foundry USA (#1 largest Bitcoin mining pool in the world), Grayscale/GBTC (one of the largest Bitcoin ETFs), Genesis (which collapsed amid fraud allegations), and CoinDesk (#1 largest Bitcoin media site).
Got it…

Jeffrey Epstein emails reveal he was linked to Bitcoin’s early ecosystem🚨
Here’s what’s happening:
The biggest red flag is how close Epstein was to Bitcoin funding channels, and early development circles.
Here are the main links:
- MIT Funding
Epstein sent $850,000 to MIT between 2002 and 2017.
Part of these funds supported the MIT Digital Currency Initiative, the group that paid Bitcoin Core developers during a funding crisis.
- Developer Connection
The DCI was paying people like Gavin Andresen and Wladimir van der Laan when the Bitcoin Foundation ran out of money.
Epstein visited MIT nine times.
He met staff privately.
His name was hidden internally.
They called him “Voldemort.”
- The Manhattan Meeting
Emails show a meeting inside Epstein’s mansion with:
Brock Pierce (early Bitcoin investor, co-founder of Tether)
Larry Summers (former US Treasury Secretary)
They discussed Bitcoin long before it became mainstream.
Summers said Bitcoin had “opportunities,” but he worried about his reputation if the price collapsed.
- Steve Bannon Connection
In 2018 Epstein emailed Bannon asking how crypto taxes worked.
He wanted advice on receiving coins, paying with coins, distributing coins, and avoiding campaign finance rules.
Bannon replied “On it” and connected him to FEC experts and crypto veterans.
- Early Crypto Research
Epstein’s Amazon logs show he bought books on Bitcoin, Ethereum, blockchain, and negotiation strategy.
This was in 2017, while he was trying to rebuild his network.
These five links alone show Epstein had access to developers, regulators, politicians, donors, and early crypto investors.
And none of this was public until now.
The emails show:
- MIT underreported the donations
- Epstein visited through back doors
- Meetings were not logged
- Senior MIT officials approved the money privately
- Bitcoin developers were funded during the same period
None of this proves Epstein controlled anything in Bitcoin.
But it shows he was closer to the ecosystem than anyone imagined.

The BCH-1 Hackcelerator builder rewards pool has doubled from $20,000 to $40,000. 🚀🚀🚀
$BCH is green pastures 🏞️ you can build on. This is big for builders who find it hard to find visibility in a overcrowded field on other cryptos.
It was one of the best-performing L1s last year and briefly returned to the top ten.
The upgrades matters: a Bitcoin chain where you can build directly on the base layer with smart contracts, low fees, fast settlement, and scalability designed for real usage.
You keep Bitcoin’s core advantages while gaining the ability to ship applications that can grow without becoming unusable.
BCH-1 exists to make that opportunity visible by bringing serious builders to Bitcoin Cash and helping them ship polished, fundable products.
Porting, adapting, and improving apps on other chains for BCH is a fast path to ownership and differentiation in an ecosystem with real surface area all for the taking.
Phase 2 timeline:
• Now: Phase 1 in its final gear, mentors being assigned
• Feb 6 – Phase 2 begins (warm-up phase)
• Feb 13 – Initial BUIDL submission (vision & idea) ; sprint officially starts
• Feb 26 – Final submissions

🚀 BCH-1 Phase 1 Update:
We now have 125 registered hackers.
There are 22 projects that have had their project vision and MVP challenge approved, ready for the phase 2 sprint.
Their names are (I'll let you guess what they propose to do 😀):
AuraTrades, Dance Cash, MavenPride, TicketScan, BCH Pay, BCH Ghost, Cashinals, Confidential Assets, BCHUBKey, CashDropKit, AxisPay, Soma, SecureVote, Farmer's Dream, RoastMyBag, NexOps, Fun(d) Tokens, CashLabs, Fortress Vault, FlowGuard, USSD Cash, PaySats, CoinGraze, Movia, OPTN Labs, CoinDrop, BCH Trend Navigator
The work continues to bootstrap even more $BCH project tadpoles.
This week the focus will be on app logic, product messaging and CashScript implementation challenges.
We have put everyone into the 4 different groups from A to D, depending on where their idea is, and how much help they need to be onboarded onto the $BCH ecosystem
Every week, each group is assigned its focus for the week on our TG group chat.
All builders should get engaged with our TG channel for maximum interaction with our lovely community at Bitcoin Cash: (in reply)
BCH-1 is cooking.
🚀 BCH-1 Phase 1 Update:
Just sent to TG group the BCH-1 Developers Handbook for devs joining the "Programmable Bitcoin" for the first time.
We now have 98 registered hackers.
Here are some cool things that have already been hatching for $BCH:
- A Sablier (payment streaming) like platform for Bitcoin Cash
- A Remix like web app, build, test and deploy Cashscript contracts
- A socially viral way to spread BCH tokens, using BCH's unique capabilities.
- Smart Contract Marketplace
- Bundling different tokens together in one tx
- Token Access Control for communities
- Airdrop tools built on BCH's hyperscalable L1 design
DAO systems, payment systems, voting systems and hopefully more coming.
This week, we split teams into 4 groups, depending on their vision stage, and help them start formulating their vision for what they will work on during the actual sprint in Phase 2, as well as identify technical challenges.
We start 2026, like we think it will - 2026 is the year $BCH starts slapping as Bitcoin Cash's programmable era.
Want in the the current hottest OG L1? Check out $BCH and get scouted.

Hear Hear. The world has already failed. The system doesn't work for 90% of planet earths people.
In the next few years I predict localized uprisings due to displacement of normal people who aren't part of the top 10%.
It is up to us to build a better world for the next generation, one that is not entrapped by the centralized power structures that have become corrupt and insider trading jacking up their own valuations and monopolising markets, one that is accessible and open to all for opportunity and growth.
For most of my life, I’ve been a law-abiding citizen. I paid my dues, followed the rules, and even placed my hope in political leaders I believed could make our country better. I gave the government chance after chance to prove itself.
But over the years, I watched the same cycle repeat—abuse of power, corruption, and the slow hijacking of our institutions by greedy officials of every political color. That’s when something inside me shifted. I began to sense that the way we have governed society is already outdated.
In the modern era, technology has only amplified the imbalance—those in power can now exploit systems faster, siphon off money more easily, and consolidate control with unprecedented reach. Meanwhile, ordinary law-abiding citizens are left to suffer under rules built on blind trust. Trust that has become easier than ever to betray.
And then it struck me: Satoshi Nakamoto did more than invent a new currency—he provided a template for change. Just as peer-to-peer digital money removes banks and custodians, peer-to-peer governance can remove intermediaries. No elected representatives. No bloated bureaucracies. The same protocols that decentralize money can decentralize governance itself.
If old governance systems are using new technologies to centralize and consolidate their power, then it’s time we use technology to build something better—a parallel, peer-to-peer governance system. Blockchain, the very foundation of cryptocurrencies, gives us the tools to make this possible.
This is why I stand behind the Techno-Decentralist Manifesto—a vision for building the future of governance beyond the failures of the old world.
