I wanted to jump on this : - It took me (streaming on and off for 2 years then commiting to it) 5 month to hit, i had support from communities I was in. - I was at 5 average viewers for 4 years. It was only since becoming a vtuber that I hit around 8 average. - I have been streaming for almost 6 years and still technically havent hit 10 average viewers. Streaming is stressful, the hate hurts, seeing people do well in shorter amounts of time then you have sucks. But thats life. You can give up, stop trying and live with the fact that the next clip, the next vod, the next stream could have been life changing. The wait sucks. But press on, and try to not compare too much. Focus on your achievements and what you HAVE done. Change the perspective. Here is how I now see it : - I had amazing people who helped me hit affilate. - Those 5 viewers stuck with me. Despite changing from a face cam streamer to a vtuber I was able to build myself back up. - I gained 3 average veiwers in the last 2 years of streaming. 3 more people who gave time to watch me. Ontop of all this, I have done events, made friends, lost friends, laughed, cried, screamed, stressed, I kept going when I wanted to give up. Change is slow, if you only see what you haven't achieved, then you will never realise what you have.
