Not our normal place to publish….. but this story in the Daily Express highlights some of the exciting albeit preliminary results for patients we are seeing in our fantastic collaboration with CellCentric and clinicians across the UK & EU & lab work from Luciano Nicosia

Incredibly sad news, Aisling was a champion of cancer policy and saved lives; she was brilliant and full of life and energy.
It is with great sadness that we share news of the death of our former CEO Aisling Burnand on 19 September from bowel cancer. She was a fearless and passionate voice for charity funded medical research as well as a much-respected colleague to us all. bit.ly/3BXEVzq
Really excellent talk from @scienceadvocacy at @ISEHSociety
Not only some great science, but the acknowledgment and thanks given to colleagues was great to see.
This thread👇by @VincentRK shows the barriers to science making a huge difference to saving lives, the very thing the scientific & research community set out to do. Policy decisions, commercial reasons, governance which isn't in the patients best interest. Lets change this!
You can make CAR-T cells in one day if you wanted to. The technology is here. The current regulatory system will be the barrier. Not the science.
China will become the destination center. @NoopurRajeMD @DavidP4AD @kenderian_ss @Rfonsi1 @BloodCancerJnl nature.com/articles/s41408-0…
