The form of our strikers called up this month since the last international break has been very impressive.
Jovo Lukić (🇷🇴 U. Cluj) - 🅰️🅰️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
Ermedin Demirović (🇩🇪 Stuttgart) - ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
Haris Tabaković (🇦🇹 Salzburg) - ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
Matej Deket (🇧🇦 Borac) - ⚽️⚽️
Samed Baždar (🇧🇪 Sint Truiden) - ⚽️🅰️
22 goal contributions between them, including a couple of hat-tricks from Tabaković and Lukić.
Would also give a mention to two more strikers in very good form that could be of NT consideration next year:
Luka Juričić (🇧🇦 Borac) - ⚽️🅰️🅰️⚽️🅰️⚽️🅰️⚽️
Luka Kulenović (🇭🇺 Györ) - 🅰️⚽️⚽️⚽️
Obviously there's still also the long shot of Dženan Pejčinović; either way, who'd have thought the first month of the post-Džeko era would play out like this?
No way to replace him with one player like-for-like, but having multiple forwards in good form and of different ages/profiles could make the transition a little smoother. Certainly something we couldn't have said at any point in the last few years when he was around.

It’s incredible what this team has achieved. Four games in just 10 days, not a single defeat and only three goals conceded. What a mentality, what a fight, and what a commitment in every single game from the first minute to the last.
People need to stop using burner accounts to make fun of our players, throw stupid jokes at them and constantly criticize them from behind fake profiles. Every single one of these players deserves respect and praise, as does the entire collective, led by our head coach Sergej Barbarez.
We don’t lose games anymore. 🇧🇦
A few years ago, we could only dream of having a national team like this. Now we have one.
Bravo, momci. Volim vas sve!! ❤️🇧🇦

Hätte dieser 19-jährige Lausbub aus Barcelona nicht einfach seinen Mund halten können? Kane und Olise sind heute richtig on fire und beweisen, dass sie Ballon-d'-Or-Material sind.

THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW:
part 4.
In 2001, Bayern Munich was on the verge of signing a 19-year-old raw talent named Zlatan Ibrahimović.
European scouts were flocking to Sweden, but Bayern Munich made their move early.
Talks happened. Terms were discussed. But Malmö set a firm price tag: €7.8 million.
Bayern’s executive Uli Hoeneß said,
"We don't pay that kind of money for a teenager."
So, Bayern stepped back.
Ajax stepped up.
And just like that Bayern lost the young prospect.
Years later, Hoeneß openly admitted that while financial discipline saved them in other areas, he regretted not signing Zlatan Ibrahimović.
Would you have taken the €7.8M risk on a 19 year old Zlatan back in 2001?

Ornstein is a perfect example to follow for anyone looking to get in to football journalism. He doesn’t entertain, he informs. He doesn’t build a brand of tearing other people down, he doesn’t say the same thing twice just for RT’s and doesn’t speak at all unless there is something meaningful to be said. It is so unbelievably difficult to be that well informed and to be that accurate, he is obviously someone who has a lot of trust of key people in the game. That’s how it’s done.

Here's a mind-blowing statistic: despite making up just ~0.2% of the global population, players with ethnic heritage from the former Yugoslavia are 7.5% of players in the FIFA World Cup Round of 32 (overrepresented by 40x) and play for 9/32 or 28% of teams! -> 🇭🇷🇧🇦🇦🇹🇦🇺🇨🇭🇺🇸🇨🇦🇸🇪🇩🇪
