Stablecoins can play an important role in expanding certain utility across the Pi ecosystem, particularly in use cases where predictable price stability is important.
The introduction of stablecoins requires a deliberate, unique approach, and must be aligned with Pi Network’s ecosystem and principles.
- Simply adding a stablecoin does not guarantee that it will naturally complement Pi.
- How the two function alongside each other depends on how stablecoins are integrated into the Pi ecosystem.
This makes the design and initial introduction especially important. Stablecoin functionality should be directed toward circumstances where price stability is needed while preserving the utility of the Pi cryptocurrency across the broader ecosystem.

Pi Network is partnering with @openstandard, the company powering Open USD (OUSD), a partner-governed stablecoin designed as open infrastructure!
Open Standard brings together more than 200+ partners across payments, finance, technology, and crypto, including Visa, Google, and Stripe.
OUSD is designed with an incentive model focused on supporting ecosystem growth, and Pi will explore rewards programs for Pioneers and broader utility across the Pi ecosystem.

Following the successful completion of the Protocol 27 upgrade on Pi Mainnet, Pi Testnet has upgraded to Protocol 28.
Protocol 28 improves how the network handles delays in transaction data and enables developers to upgrade groups of smart contracts at once and change stored data more safely as their applications develop.
All Node operators must upgrade their nodes to Protocol 28 by October 13, 2026, in preparation for the Mainnet Protocol 28 network upgrade on October 16, 2026.

Pi has released several technical updates to KYC and Mainnet migration processes that address specific KYC application corner cases, improve verification processes, and help eligible Pioneers who were previously unable to progress.
KYC and Mainnet migration involve many different checks designed to allow genuine Pioneers to progress while preventing bad actors, bots and those with policy violations.
While most Pioneers move through these processes continuously, certain groups can become stuck because of specific corner cases that require additional evaluation or custom technical solutions.

This afternoon, Senate Democrats proved they were never truly serious about protecting consumers and preserving American leadership. I sat at the table with Senate Democrats working in good faith to get this done while they played games.
For over a year, they presented demands and the second we met them, they made new demands and moved the goal posts. Today they voted against real limitations on politicians’ personal crypto investments. They voted against protecting American consumers from the scammers and fraudsters this bill would have shut down. They voted against American leadership, and handed China and every one of our foreign competitors exactly what they wanted. Democrats chose politics over the American people—again. That’s not leadership on their part, that’s surrender to their radical, socialist base.
The once-proud Democratic party is anti-consumer and pro-illicit finance, anti-ethics, anti-free enterprise, anti-worker, anti-livable wage jobs, and pro-socialism. The Democrats are now anti-American. Sad!

🌈这几天参加了 Pi 的一家 KYB 企业、Bitget 举办的晚宴，也和家印哥聊得非常开心。在会上学习到了很多新的内容，也让我对一个方向有了更深的感触——实物资产上链（RWA）+ 合规化，才是 Web3 真正走向现实世界的未来。非常感慨的是，这个观点早在 5 年前，尼古拉斯博士就在博客和视频中提到过。如今，我们正在一点点看到整个行业开始重视并认可这条道路。Pi 一直在尝试解决这个行业真正存在的难题。通过这次会议，也更加坚定了我的决心。终有一日同风起，扶摇直上九万里。
🎬 最近我在观察 8 月 5 日 Pi 转发的 Fabric Foundation 文章时，又发现了一个很有意思的变化：RoboPay 的代码库中已经集成了 Pi 支付，并且进行了测试。
这意味着未来 Pi 的使用场景，可以不只是“买东西”，还可以进一步延伸到——雇机器干活。举几个非常现实的例子：
第一种：Pi 雇配送机器人。
你在商场买了一堆东西，不想自己拿回家。手机直接下单：“把这些东西送到我家。”机器人报价 3 Pi，你完成付款，RoboPay 自动通过 Pi 区块链确认到账，然后机器人开始执行配送任务。
第二种：Pi 雇安保机器人。
一个仓库晚上没人值班，可以按小时租巡逻机器人。比如：“今晚巡逻 8 小时，20 Pi。”付款确认以后，机器人自动巡逻、拍摄，发现异常情况后自动通知负责人。
第三种：Pi 雇工业机器人。
未来工厂甚至不一定需要购买所有机器人，而是可以变成“按任务付费”。比如检查 100 台设备收费 50 Pi，机器人完成任务，企业直接使用 Pi 进行结算。
当越来越多这样的真实实用性进入 Pi 生态，我相信，我们距离生态发生巨大变化的那一天也会越来越近。
🌞而今天，我又发现了一个值得关注的信息。Pi Network Ventures 投资的第三家公司 Axis Robotics，其官网中已经出现了吉利汽车、路特斯汽车等合作身影。
我想表达的观点其实非常简单：Pi 投出去的第三家公司，现在已经开始跟吉利、路特斯这样的汽车大厂一起干活了。换句大白话说：Pi 投资的“小弟”，已经开始进入大厂的生意圈了。现在 Axis 正在把机器人和 AI 技术带进吉利、路特斯这样的汽车产业场景。这说明 Pi Ventures 投资的项目，已经不只是停留在实验室和概念阶段，而是在一步步进入真实工厂、真实企业和真实商业需求。这也在一次次印证 Pi Ventures 对未来产业方向的判断。
而在昨天的博客中，官方又重点介绍了 OpenClaw 和 Atlassian MCP Server。我认为这两个产物值得关注的地方，就是它们正在尝试让 AI、企业工具与 Pi 节点基础设施更加紧密地结合起来，在原有区块链能力之外创造新的价值和新的生产力。以前：Pi Node → 主要服务 Pi 区块链。而现在我们正在看到它的能力不断向外扩展：
Pi Node → 区块链 + AI + MCP + 企业软件 + 本地应用。OpenClaw，是 AI Agent 方向的一次尝试。Atlassian MCP Server，则是连接 Jira、Confluence 等企业工具方向的一次尝试。从 RWA、合规化，到机器人支付、AI，再到 MCP、企业软件和节点计算……这些看似独立的东西，正在一点一点被连接起来。也正是在这一轮又一轮的变化中，我越来越相信：Pi 想做的，从来不只是一个简单的区块链网络，而是在不断探索 Web3 如何真正进入现实世界、服务真实企业、创造真实生产力。路还很长，但方向正在越来越清晰。我也相信，Pi 能够继续沿着这条道路走下去，推动 Web3 进入一个真正有实用性、有企业参与、有现实价值的新阶段。

Following the successful completion of the Protocol 26 upgrade on Pi Mainnet, Pi Testnet is upgrading to Protocol 27!
Protocol 27 introduces more flexible and secure smart contract authentication capabilities, enabling more advanced ways for accounts and applications to authorize transactions. The upgrade continues Pi’s broader work to incorporate newer protocol features and expand the network’s smart contract capabilities.
The target date for the Mainnet upgrade to 27 is September 15, 2026.
