Biggest Claude slop peeve? "Worth 20 minutes?" If it wasn't worth 5 minutes to think through a salutation, introduction and compelling reason to meet, no, it's not worth 20 minutes.

A new, faster engine is coming to Mantle Mainnet as global capital markets accelerate onchain. On Oct. 28, 7AM UTC, our Sequencer moves from Geth to Reth, after a clean run on Sepolia. Same chain, lighter footprint, and tighter ZK alignment. What to expect ↓

Palantir's merch feels like the endpoint in streetwear's evolution, which started with young kids in urban areas — mostly ethnic minorities from low-income families — creating their own style from the ground up. Over time, that aesthetic was co-opted by luxury brands seeking "authenticity." And now, by a surveillance company seeking cultural capital. Streetwear used to be an aesthetic defined by the ground-up by people were disempowered in political and economic life, but engaged in actual street culture. Now it's an aesthetic dictated from the top down by giant corporations with no conenction to such cultures. And used by political and economic elites who want to appear as outsiders.

The rebrand from "bots" to "agents" is going better than I expected. But I still think the word "agent" is not very mainstream friendly.

I was a summer associate at a biglaw firm in '08. Bear had already crashed, and Lehman wouldn't fall until September. But at the very end of the summer, they laid off thousands of employees in an attempt to stop the bleeding. We were shocked and confused. I remember 15 or so of us huddled in a small conference room, debating whether we'd receive our full time offers to join the following year. We did. Other classmates at other firms were deferred, some indefinitely. I returned to Villanova that fall. While I was lucky enough to score a prestigious externship in the US Court of Appeals 3d Cir, it was all the way in Delaware. Driving 2x a week to Wilmington when gas was at ATHs of $5/gallon while on student loans -- it was pretty rough and a smack in the teeth.
For those who were adults during the 2008 financial crisis, what was your holy crap, the economy is actually crashing moment?

Phenomenal team, pushing the limits of SP1. '27 gonna be a huge year for @DeriveXYZ.
A closer look at our thinking behind V3. Our CTO @josh_pwrk sat down with @Nomaticcap to talk through how we got here, why we chose Ethereum and ZK, and where we think onchain finance is headed. We've spent five years building onchain options and learning from the traders who use them. Josh shares the lessons behind V3 and why we want to make it easier for others to build alongside us. Watch the full conversation below.

Mr. Kamoshita was, and still is, a huge influence on not just my personal style, but also life philosophy. Here's a throwback from 11 years ago -- it was 105 degrees in Paris and he still carried himself so elegantly.
