The Muyiwa Igbalajobi Foundation has launched the second edition of the Caleb & Funmilayo Igbalajobi Memorial Award, offering selected young graduates from Ekiti State $3,000 scholarship mentorship support to pursue global education and career development opportunities.
The award, known as CFIMA 2027, is also offering each recipient a N300,000 cash prize as part of efforts to recognise and support outstanding young graduates who have distinguished themselves in academics, leadership and community service.

Itโs been a year since some members of my community called my attention to this little boy, Damilare.
It happened during my dadโs funeral in Efon Alaaye, Ekiti State. What started as a simple conversation has since become a commitment.
For the past year, I have taken responsibility for his tuition and monthly upkeep.
My goal is simple: to ensure that children like Damilare are well cared for, have access to quality education, and have a real opportunity to build a better future.
Coming home to Ekiti, especially at a time when I was mourning my father, reminded me that beyond our individual successes, we have a responsibility to look out for the next generation.
I may not be able to change the world for everyone, but I can make a difference in the life of someone within my reach.
And for Damilare, this is only the beginning. โค๏ธ

A few days ago, Dr. Von Batten received unsolicited offers of $3 million, along with an invitation to a confidential meeting in London, from a highly placed individual whom we have been informed is connected to Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@officialABAT). We believe these offers were an attempt to persuade Dr. Von Batten to end our campaign concerning President #Tinubuโs alleged heroin-trafficking records.
Dr. Von Batten refused the offers, immediately preserved copies of the exchanges, and contacted members of former Nigerian Vice President @atikuโs campaign to determine the nature of the individualโs relationship with President #Tinubu. Shortly after the refusals, a smear campaign against Dr. Von Batten began. We will be providing the $3 million offer and related communications to the our friends at @TheJusticeDept and @FBI to protect our reputation and allow the appropriate authorities to review the matter.
We have a simple message for President Bola #Tinubu, the @OfficialAPCNg, and their associates: Thank you for the offer, but no thanks.

I am always proud of you, brother, @Sir_Rexpect. No longer should anyone have to complain about a lack of access to opportunities. I am glad that some of us can now focus on ensuring that underserved countries are not left behind and that young people everywhere have access to the opportunities they deserve.
Studying in FUOYE (Oye and Ikole), Ekiti State, where electricity and internet access were major challenges, meant that information about international scholarships was almost nonexistent.
Five years later, we have worked intentionally to bridge that knowledge gap. With the support of Dr. @olumuyiwaayo and many others, more students are now aware of these opportunities, preparing intentionally, and securing fully funded masterโs and PhD positions in the United States, Canada, and beyond.
Seeing how far they have come makes me incredibly proud and reminds me why taking that first step to share opportunities was worth it.
