Agents are overrated. Most of what's sold as agents is scaffolding the model no longer needs.

Anojan is a Tamil. Sinhala people fought for his release tirelessly. "Tamils don't like Sinhalese" is a wrong statement. I am Tamil and I love my Sinhala brothers and sisters. I am not an exception. If you come to Sri Lanka, you will see how united we are actually on the ground.

He was a Sinhalese man, i think. Tamils don't like Sinhalese.

8 months building with Claude Code. Then I pointed Kimi at the same repo. It saw more. A stranger reads the code. The author reads its own notes about the code. Same model writing and reviewing = same blind spots, twice. The writer should never be the only reviewer.

From 2027, Grade 6 students in Sri Lanka will study Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy. I read the first-term module. It starts with the child, not with money. A timely and valuable move. Now let us bring digital and AI literacy into the classroom too. samisa.blog/2026/10/06/grade…

What makes them the best? The main factors that made companies rank highly were: Meaningful and engaging work. Competitive compensation and benefits. Career advancement opportunities. Work-life balance. Training in new technologies and skills. Strong company reputation. Employees' willingness to recommend their employer to family and friends.
Forbes has partnered with market research firm Statista for the seventh straight year to evaluate companies around the world and identify those that support their employees by offering meaningful work, top-tier compensation, training in new technologies and more. Fior leaders and mentors: you might find the most important takeaway is that the highest-ranked employers are not necessarily those that pay the most. They tend to combine: Purposeful work, Growth opportunities, Fair rewards, Employee well-being, and A culture people are proud to recommend.
7
Looking at the top-ranked companies, a few common themes emerge: Microsoft (#1): Known for its strong culture, learning opportunities, AI leadership, flexible work practices, and employee development. It topped the 2026 list. Delta Air Lines (#2): Often recognized for employee engagement and profit-sharing programs. Shopify (#3): Highly rated for empowerment, remote work, and entrepreneurial culture. Costco (#4): Famous for above-average pay and employee retention. NVIDIA (#5): Offers exciting, cutting-edge work, excellent compensation, and strong growth opportunities.

To put up a small building in Colombo, you may need clearances from up to 13 outside agencies. Each holds one true fact about the same land. The only integration layer is the applicant's feet. I have drawn a proposal for what should carry that load instead. Link in the reply.

This is my proposal. Nothing in it has been validated, adopted or standardised by anyone. One question for anyone holding a budget: when the model behind your service changes next year, what else has to change with it?

So I traced one permit through an architecture and marked each step for what it is: a conventional rule, an AI task, or a human decision. Ten years, six months, sixty feet, three hundred metres. Those are arithmetic. A model should never decide a threshold.

The council's own procedure says five of the steps can run in parallel. The document that tells applicants what to bring does not say so. The knowledge exists. It is not connected.

High agency is not taught in a class. It is built in the hours a child runs for themselves. That is the difficulty. Count your child's week: school, tuition, the bus between them. How many hours are left that are theirs? And time alone is not enough. Tell a child "study on your own" without showing them how, and you have not freed them. You have left them alone. That is what the Idasara Method is for. It gives a student a way to run their own hour. Read. Write the note in your own hand. Test yourself on a blank page. Work the mistake down to zero. No teacher needed in the room. Time, plus a method. That is how a child learns that a locked door is a problem, not a verdict. So this Children's Day, give your child's time back. One protected hour. Door shut, phone away, their own pen. I wrote about it today, in "A Child's Own Hour". The link is in the first comment. Less held. More whole. #WorldChildrensDay #HighAgency #MeTime #IdasaraAcademy
