Perspective. No club has lost more games than us in the past five seasons. Not even close. On top of that, we lost four of our first five league games this season. Fans know the club's on its knees, but they turn up each week. And rightly expect their team to do so too.

It is hard to disagree.
This is shambolic.
We are so poor defensively and we never look like we are going to score.

Support the pyramid! Maintain the blackout!

The 3pm blackout clearly helps smaller clubs. Lift the blackout, then we have a 'goals show' at 3pm & it's the major televised slot of the week. If you don't care about smaller clubs, that's up to you! But the idea it's an antiquated rule just isn't right.

There is no shortage of issues regarding FIFA. Let me start by clarifying what some of these are from an FA perspective, in particular that of Jordan going into a World Cup for the first time.
We are a small country with a minimal budget for our FA and had to deal with enormous hurdles. First, getting our fans into the USA: not all were granted VISAS, even though they had tickets -which we also know were sold at exorbitant prices. Secondly, we are being taxed by the US govt through FIFA for our participation. Money that should go to players and staff. This was not the case for those who played and set up camp in Canada and Mexico. But we happened to be in the USA so now we face these huge costs in taxes for having participated.
Thirdly we have been waiting for reward money for our players since December for the Arab cup in Qatar, which is a FIFA event. The money our team should receive for having reached the final has not been delivered yet, while at the same time FIFA brags about how many billions they have in reserve.
It is clear the problem really is with leadership. For months, FIFA has been refusing to help us on any of these or other matters- until it was verbally communicated to me during the World Cup that if I endorsed Infantino it would go a long way to helping our FA out.
We pride ourselves in Jordan in upholding ethical values. We did not endorse him before and certainly will not now. But the whole situation amounts to blackmail and we refuse to give in to that.
10 years ago, the polls closed and the votes started to be counted. What a brilliant night that was. The people had spoken!

Hard to deal with the total credulousness of my trade union as tens of thousands of members are made redundant. It's as though they think the government will step in and save them if they are nice about the new cabinet on the telly instead of saying what's happening.
The new cabinet presents a real chance for Labour to work for working people.
Putting trade unionist Anneliese Midgley in cabinet signals a real desire to work with unions.
We welcome @LucyMPowell as Education Secretary, a chance for government to really get a hold of the challenges facing post-16 education.

Have noticed a lot of people calling Keir Starmer a "decent man" this week. He's not!

It’s a scandal. But we need a union that is going to take mass industrial action to press for that to happen

Same old England. On first viewing I thought Tuchel’s subs were disastrous. On second viewing, the retreat happened beforehand, a consequence of Argentina pushing on & England being exhausted. The three defensive subs did make sense. Analysis here…⬇️

It is really disappointing to hear the club has failed to honour its financial commitments.
Given most of our signings are free transfers & loans, and a lot of signings have already been made, hopefully it won’t impact GC too much.

Shrewsbury Town can confirm the club has been placed under a one-window transfer fee restriction in accordance with EFL Regulation 52.6.
The club would like to reassure supporters we remain able to sign free agents & loan players during the current transfer window & manager Gavin Cowan will still be able to strengthen his squad.

What an absolute disgrace. A FIFA-certified referee being denied entry to the United States purely because he is Somali.
The World Cup is meant to bring people together. This is racism, plain and simple. Shameful.
