Friends, I’m on my way to Rome today, where I was invited to ordain the 2026 diaconate class of the North American College and give an address to the Embassy of the United States to the Holy See. I had an opportunity to request a meeting with Pope Leo XIV in order to discuss the work of my diocese and to present to him a copy of Word on Fire’s Liturgy of the Hours. He graciously accepted my request, and I’m excited to meet with him soon. Before returning, I will make a pilgrimage to the tomb of Don Dolindo Ruotolo, Servant of God and author of the Surrender Novena, in Naples. Pray for us on our journey.
