Many rejected grant proposals over several years, happy to finally get my first R01. Thanks to @Tulane_Surgery @TulaneMedicine @TraumaTulane and all the mentors that kept supporting me.

“…Ultimately, I hope this work puts trauma surgeons out of business.”

There is no standardized treatment catastrophic brain injury (CBI), a fatal injury. Giving dopamine, DDAVP, vasopressin, levothyroxine, or steroids alone: ↑ odds of organ donation after CBI. DDAVP and steroids together have the highest odds of successful donation.

The closest thing the NFL has to college football hatred is Falcons and Saints twitter when both teams are relevent.

The NFL is so inconsistent
Goff’s pass attempt is called an incomplete
Shough’s is called a fumble
Yeah whatever

That roughing the passer call was SO MUCH worse than the Lions non-fumble.

NFL officiating is broken. If that’s roughing the passer on Danny Stutsman then just put flags on quarterbacks and call it a day. How do you want a defender to hit a QB throwing the ball ? He can’t stop his momentum once the hit is applied.

No need to wonder why players, coaches and fans have no idea what is or isn't a certain penalty in the NFL. The consistency is abysmal.
