He died. They still played the football game. No postponement. They just took the body off the field and played the game regardless of what just happened. Am I the only person disturbed by this?
A U.S. Army officer falls to the field at high speed during a fast rope demonstration gone wrong during the Navy vs UTSA pregame tonight.
The officer was attended to on the field and taken to the hospital on a stretcher. There has been no update on his condition but we pray that he was not seriously injured.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Air Force confirmed the service member, a USAF Airman, died from injuries after the rappelling demonstration. It was not a fast-rope or Army officer.

Recruiting Video
The video I shared is showing the vision and unwavering commitment to a man’s principles and priorities. As a parent of a 4⭐️ recruit I want to hear that more than I to hear about football. With over 30 years of working with young athletes and preparing them for college and pro sports what has been defined by Coach Campbell of his 3 things he looks for in a recruit is the type of things that will keep recruits coming and keeps parents like myself and my wife interested in Penn State, is not the whiteout or uniforms it is the vision that makes all that happen Big shout out to Coach Campbell from the Burch’s . Hey, Stephen A. Smith:
Lane Johnson's mom has cancer. His dad is also sick. I read your book and you talked about how difficult your life got when your mom got sick and after she passed, you had to go to therapy because you were depressed and you took time off of work.
Your mocking Lane Johnson's mental health struggles when you've been open about your own mental health struggles?
Come on, man. I know you're busy, but do some research before going on TV @stephenasmith

"This place has gone through hard and come out better from it. Every step of the way.
The frustration from my end is you want to give our players, our coaches, and this community, something to be really proud of and what it represents. And we're not there yet.
The reality is I'm not surprised [in lack of identity]. You're trying to morph offensive schemes. You're trying to morph team, you're trying to morph culture together. And it's a growth process. And the reality of it is, you know, we have to be better and it starts with my leadership and making sure we get better."
