Honest sex ed is popular and effective! Despite this, more states are pushing for opt-in policies that would reduce participation. No student should be denied vital sexual health and abuse-prevention information because of paperwork.

We talk about "risk" in binaries. A condom can break, birth control can fail, anyone can be pressured into sex. Despite that, and our enduring lack of sex ed, pregnancy is framed as a consequence of "risky" behavior for women.
