I’m a single issue voter this election in SF. I vote for anti crime candidates and measures who aren’t driven by extreme anti driver ideology.
Replying to @sfstandard @leahygarrett
1) No one in the media has challenged the notoriously bad city number crunching. 1.7 million visitors? Have you witnessed that rate of people at any time other than staged events?
2) How did the city count for these surfers in your photo? Were they there for the Great HIghway?
I have an honest question for @GrowSF , is growing SF only about building uncontrolled skyscrapers? Doesn’t a growing city need grocery stores, pharmacies, cinemas, and roads?
You are not pro growth. Growth can’t happen without mobility. Your better name is Build Blindly SF.

Bay Area peeps: Vote NO on the RTM ballot proposition.
This tax will increase your sales tax on everything you buy from lunch out, kids bikes, family clothing, and homegood from 8.6% to 9.6%
BART has shown zero ability or interest in containing bloated headcount and salaries. The only thing that will drive efficiency and change is cutting off access to the taxpayer’s teat
Sean Elsbernd, CEO of SPUR is the Treasure for the Yes on RTM campaign committee. Special interests banding together to suck money out of the 9-5 residents who are not educated and get fooled. Instead of fixing their own mess before asking for more. There is no incentive for SFMTA or other agencies to fix their own mess if taxpayers keep bailing them out.
No on Measure RTM. No on Proposition H.

Closing a road during the week that families need to efficiently get to school & jobs doesn’t make sense.
Like Prop 36 fixed Prop 47,
Prop G fixes Prop K.
Yes on G!
NIMBYism is not just opposing building new housing.
Calling for shutting down arterial highways, reducing road lanes and taking away street parking is also NIMBYism.
Connie Chan can gain lots of support by coming in favor of reopening the great highway and stopping anti car regressive agenda. @conniechansf

I don’t support or like Connie Chan’s weak on crime positions but take her any day over Wiener. She opposed closing the great highway and the MLK drive.

Guy who thinks building more houses will depress prices but that adding more lanes to the highway won’t relieve congestion.
Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary
I’m not a fan of politics of @Scott_Wiener but I have to admire him being present everywhere in this city. He likes what he does and works for that.
San Francisco lost another big conference
@IEEEorg DAC moved to Long Beach after several years in moscone center
I was walking in SF’s Union Square and seeing all empty stores made me sad. I was wondering it would be great if there was a bookstore there to roam in. Suddenly I saw this new bookstore has opened there! It’s called the best bookstore and it’s a great addition to have.
Just BUILD BUILD BUILD shoebox apartment
Who needs cinemas?
Who needs culture?
Who needs parks?
Who needs highways?
Who needs pharmacies?
Who needs gas stations?
Sick mentality
The former CineArts at the Empire on West Portal Avenue is just a one-story structure, but could become a nine-story housing complex with 64 units under a just-announced proposal from the family that has owned the property for 100 years. buff.ly/7CgJ1yM
