It's been a tumultuous six years.
Lots of ups & downs.
Sprinkled with joy & tears,
Times hope & times of fears.
There's so much that we share - that its time we're aware...
...that a place for friendship shouldn't be for just one nation.
Happy 6th anniversary, SEAPonyCon <3
As long as you're still out there celebrating friendship, we'll still be here.
Happy 8th anniversary, friends.
Marcelo's contributions to PHPonyCon and the Philippine Bronies helped us establish our footing. He was there when his community needed him most - and we learned a lot from him sharing his experience
Marcelo wasn't just a name behind a screen either. He secured and led meetings with venue contacts and planted many of the ideas that have blossomed into today's SEAPonyCon.
He was the one who took the first steps of this long journey that inspired us to take many more.
With great sadness today we mourn the passing of one of our earliest team members and beloved friend, Marcelo Hector Palileo (@konigstigerDir1) - one of the earliest proponents of our convention and community dating all the way back to 2013.
Project SEAPonyCon - A Place for Friendship retweeted
Found a piece of con history on my barely used account! @SEAPonyCon has been a long-dreamed event by multiple communities across Southeast Asia and these are one of the few (failed) proposals we pitched around. It took us until 2017 to 17% the attendance estimated here.
As the #Ethereum Merge is upon us, we need to go on-record regarding our 2018 April Fools' campaign - #SEAPonyCoin. TL;DR - Project SEAPonyCon will only recognise SEAPonyCoin on the Proof-of-Stake Ethereum Mainnet.
This extends to Ether as well. For future payments where we accept Ether, only Ether on the Proof-of-Stake Ethereum Mainnet will be entertained.
Five years ago today, we said goodbye for the first time. An important lesson was learned: Goodbyes are not forever.
We're still working things out. Its been a rougher journey than we anticipated but once we figure out this new normal...
...we'll see you at SEAPonyCon.
Wayang Kulit, a cultural medium of storytelling with roots across Southeast Asia meets a traditional Chinese New Year song entangled with the story of the Mare in the Moon - a brilliant culmination of cultures in an amazing animation.
Fantastic work, @CrosslineAnima1!
Silence of the Night Music Video is out!
Special thank you to @StPinkie for allowing to work on this project

Hello @Facebook, we hope you enjoyed your stay at the realm of technical difficulty
Four years ago today we held our very first opening ceremonies. While we're still on hiatus, hop into our Discord server at discord.seaponycon.com this Saturday at 8:00pm (UTC+8) for a little hangout!
