🌍 The People Pillar has launched its synthesis on social assistance for the furthest behind.
Evidence from 248 studies shows that voucher and in-kind transfer programmes can improve outcomes across #SDGs1to5, especially when well-targeted and linked to complementary support.
✅ Food assistance supports food security & nutrition ✅ School feeding can improve attendance & learning ✅ Health vouchers can reduce barriers to care
✅ Skills + capital + mentoring can strengthen livelihoods
But no single intervention is enough. Reaching the furthest behind requires integrated design, sustained investment and stronger systems.

🎙️ESIC announces US$126M mobilized for Evidence Synthesis at #UNGA
At an #UNGA80event co-hosted with the @SDGSynthesis, the Evidence Synthesis Infrastructure Collaborative (ESIC) announced three milestones: a near doubling of its initial financial commitment to US$126 million, five foundational investments addressing 16 evidencesynthesis.atlassian.… solutions, and transitional arrangements for governance and funding.
