Texas forever.
Texas was built by hope. By people who had no business believing — but believed anyway. To every Texan who’s ever wondered if anyone in power is paying attention: We are taking our state back. Because a little bit of hope is a dangerous thing.

It’s hard to imagine many people having a bigger impact than Dolly Parton. Born in a one-room cabin, she earned 11 Grammys and an Emmy, built a business empire, helped millions of kids learn to read, and — as if that wasn’t enough — helped accelerate the research that led to the Moderna COVID vaccine. What a life. Michelle and I are thinking of Dolly’s family and her many, many fans.
Breaking News: Dolly Parton, the country singer, songwriter, entertainer and entrepreneur known for her outsize persona and prodigious vision and talent that placed her in a class by herself, has died at 80. nyti.ms/45Prr77

This is poor timing because now I'm wondering if you killed Dolly Parton?

Here's what I think needs to be said about Dolly Parton: You knew everything about her, everything real and true, by her actions. She was a Christian who spread the Gospel solely through taking care of the least fortunate among us. She was a patriot who thought the best of America was in our diversity and never backed down from that. She was a champion of equality solely by doing, not claiming. She let her music and actions do the talking. You always knew where she stood just by her example.

I just attended a national convention in San Antonio (great city!) that had people from everywhere and as a Texan I was like 'sorry about the temps!'

This is SO GOOD! I love being an Aggie. #gigem
At Texas A&M University, we serve with purpose, lead with character and take action for the good of our communities. This is what it means to be an Aggie: to believe that what we can do together is far greater than what any one of us can do alone. For 150 years, Aggies have embodied that belief for Texas and for America. Together, we stand. Together, we serve. Together, we are a force for good. Learn more: tx.ag/2026BrandAnthem

As a sorority alumnae president who is far left I LOVE girlhood. I love making dances with my friends. I love matching outfits. These are not conservative coded things. Sorority recruitment is fun, silly and not for men to understand. It’s not for you or your male gaze.
The Left has no answer for this

Good job JJ
The woman in the photo grew up literally down the road, won 4 Utah state championships (1 in this exact stadium), Gatorade Player of the Year twice, National Player of the Year, scored the fastest first goal in USWNT history… Could probably be worth a mention, but idk.

The little smile after "For what," relishing the opportunity to seem cold-blooded, and from someone who pretends to be a pious Catholic toward a man whose death was mourned by the Catholic Church. Vance is an awkward dork who just decided to don the mask of the King of the Online Right. Before that, he was Thoughtful Christian Populist. Before that, he was a "Trump is literally Hitler" guy. What Vance really is at heart is a hollow shell of a man who defends the murderers of American citizens more vigorously than he has ever defended his own family from the bigots he's trying to court for 2028. There has never been such a pathetic figure in public life.

“There are people in the world who are so sick or so angry that they sometimes hurt other people and they’re usually the ones who end up in the news...but when we get sad and angry, you and I, we know what to do with our feelings so we don’t have to hurt other people.”

Texans have an intentional food safety blind spot when it comes to tamales. We would never buy a hamburger out of a trunk of a car. No back of a bike chicken. Or soup from a backpack. Or anything else cooked by a stranger with no explanation. But tamales? All suspicion disappears. A cooler shows up. No signage. No credentials. No origin story. We don’t ask questions. We ask how many dozen. This isn’t an accident. It’s a choice. Everyone has a tamale person. A lady from church. A guy in a parking lot. A coworker’s aunt selling out of her trunk. Even with H-E-B and legit online ordering, we still trust the cooler more than the store. We'd get into a fistfight over how good the tamale hookup we have is. It’s December, peak tamale season. I had a guy show up at my house several weeks ago while I was home sick. I checked my Ring camera and all I saw was a short Mexican guy with a slide-top Igloo cooler. I knew exactly what he was there for. I said hello on the intercom. Told him I was sick. He asked if I wanted any tamales. I was devastated, I had to say no. I didn't want to give him the flu. But I was adamant he come back next time he was selling. Will I ever see him again? Maybe. Maybe not. Do I know where he gets them? Absolutely not. Will I buy some if he ever comes back? You betcha.

I know your intention was not malicious AND I'm glad you listened, reflected, and took down the post. It was the right thing to do. Dissapointing to see so many comments on here wanting you to 'own the libs'. Gig 'Em!

Just a huge shoutout to the dad trick or treating with his kids dressed as weird Barbie that was SO excited I knew what his costume was. I feel like his kids didn’t appreciate it so I was happy to give him validation.
