Tabby Spence, Saadia Toor and Mohiba Ahmed will help us explore the connections between the Pakistani state, US and western imperialism, and the public debt to dissect and understand how economic and political instability are shaping Pakistan’s ability to respond to and recover from catastrophe. All guests must be vaccinated. This event is free for all and will have dinner catered by a local Pakistani restaurant. SALAM will be collecting donations for the flood relief efforts by Women’s Democratic Front.
