Mental well-being now plays a significant role in my life. Prior to three years ago, I hadn't struggled with any mental health challenges. 💚 During this period, I've chosen to be open and share some of the life changing events I've faced. This includes the loss of my mother, recovering from a brain tumour, vision loss in one eye, and navigating my business through adversity. Some of the key things that have helped me when I was at the lowest points in my life are below- I quit drinking alcohol six months ago which has transformed my life Prioritizing exercise has been instrumental in helping me on my journey Being open about my struggles and being vulnerable Not being afraid to open up to my family, loved ones, and friends for additional support Being grateful for everything I have in my life, health, family, friends and much more, never taking any of it for granted Spending more time in nature hiking and walking Ensuring quality sleep and healthy eating habits daily Removed all work-related elements from my mobile to give me a better balance Whenever I find myself having difficult moments, actively seeking solutions to not get overwhelmed Not allowing imposter syndrome to creep in While some of these points may seem simple, they've all contributed to my journey towards a healthier and happier life.  Although I still confront numerous battles, I am happy with the progress I have made after such life changing events. Mental health isn’t something we should just talk about today, it should be something we are comfortable enough talking about every day. 💚

I am thrilled to share that @Signify_Tech has been awarded with the @APSCoEmbrace award. When I started Signify seven years ago, my main drive was to establish an authentically diverse and inclusive work environment, with the belief that this could drive positive change in both the recruitment and tech sectors. I am filled with a real sense of pride with some of milestones we've reached so far, although I understand we still have a substantial journey ahead of us. Glad to hear your wife is recovering. Everyone’s surgery is different as there are many forms of brain tumours in different locations. I didn’t personally experience those same issues. Hopefully the rest of her recover goes smoothly as well as all the follow up appointments.

Five months ago, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. There's no way to describe how hearing those words make you feel. I am really grateful to be here today, as I have fully recovered since my surgery to remove the tumor, this experience has truly changed my life. I am passionate about raising awareness and funds to help others who may be fighting a similar battle. After a period of time without being able to share positive updates, I'm delighted to announce that July was @Signify_Tech's best month of the year so far. 🚀 Despite the challenges we've faced compared to last year, it's crucial to celebrate the small wins. 👏 July was our second most successful month ever for generating new business. To provide some context, we came very close to surpassing the £2 million milestone once again. 📈 We achieved our best month ever for contract business written and our performance in contract has returned to the levels of 2022. 💥 A record number of 43 contract deals were secured by our contract teams. 🔥 Well done to our team for their hard work, resilience, and ability to win in a challenging market. 🙌🏽 To all the dedicated recruiters persevering out there, continue to put in your best efforts, stay focused on your metrics, and rest assured that brighter days are ahead of us. 💪🏽 While we may not be entirely free from difficulties just yet, I am truly pleased to witness the well-deserved rewards for our team's hard work. 💛

Social media is often filled with posts that highlight only the best aspects of our lives. It's rare to come across people who openly discuss their challenges, struggles, or difficult times. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Personally, I find it more inspiring when people share their struggles. 💭 There's no denying that 2023 has been a challenging year for most of us so far compared to 2022. Especially for those in sales or recruitment, it has been tough. 👎🏽 In my personal life, the last 7 months have been one of the most difficult periods I have ever faced. 💔 Likewise, my company, @Signify_Tech, has also encountered a series of challenges in trading, experienced higher employee turnover, said good bye to some long-standing team members, and underwent significant changes to position the business for future growth. 😢 For this reason, I am genuinely grateful to the entire team at Signify for standing by us during these difficult times.
