You rejected a citizens' assembly on electoral reform less than a year ago and told Greens to "go out and campaign for it." Now that they are, you're begging them to stop.
Fix our distorted voting system instead of asking voters to abandon their values.
I’m inviting all progressive voters to join us in this election. If you’ve voted Green in the past, we share a lot of the same values, and there’s too much at stake right now.
In 11 seats last time, the Green vote was the difference between a Conservative and a New Democrat. We can stop Conservative cuts and build B.C. strong if we stand together.

Communists claiming that liberalism

Asking @KenSimCity, @LennyNanZhou, @Vote4ABC why they included crack cocaine but not powder cocaine as a hard drug. Is rich people doing drugs better than poor people doing drugs?
What is a plebiscite?
A plebiscite is a non-binding question, or series of questions, put directly to voters on the ballot, giving residents the opportunity to have their say on an important public issue.
This October 17, we are proposing that Vancouver residents be asked two questions about public safety:
PUBLIC SAFETY PLEBISCITE QUESTIONS:
Vancouver has experienced unprecedented levels of street disorder, open-air hard drug use, and disruption to community safety and individual health. Therefore,
1. Are you in favour of the City of Vancouver strengthening its laws to forbid open-air hard drug (Heroin, Meth, Fentanyl, and Crack) use in public spaces?
AND
2. Should the City of Vancouver formally ask the Province of BC to convert portions of the old St. Paul’s Hospital, or another similar site, into a secure medical facility that provides acute voluntary and 100-plus involuntary care beds for individuals posing a serious risk to themselves or others due to severe substance use and mental health disorders?
While a plebiscite is non-binding, voters can give the next City Council a clear democratic mandate to strengthen municipal bylaws where the City has authority and advocate for action from the Province where it does not.
It would help re-establish social expectations around how we behave in shared public spaces, while supporting compassionate interventions that get people who pose a serious risk to themselves or others into appropriate care — helping reduce the revolving door of severe mental health and addiction crises and relieve pressure on our emergency rooms.
This is about giving Vancouver residents a voice and building a safer, more compassionate city.
We can be kind. We can be compassionate. We can be caring.
A press conference will be held today to release further details.

Does @ABDanielleSmith not know Deltaport/Roberts Bank exists? It's understandable if not, but someone on her staff should at least.

This is pretty low and disgusting Keith.
I am not a fan of Neufeld or the BC Conservatives.
Spending your time calling out 14 year old activists is pathetic.

The BC Conservative problem (in terms of a divided caucus) on full display. How many leadership candidates/caucus member back Neufeld? #bcpoli
Replying to @RyanMatCampbell @albertaseparate
It's for finding dumbtards who don't realize Alberta is already 'Landlocked' and so are some of the wealtheist freest countries on earth.
To let you keep embarrassing yourself. This grassroots movement doesn't have "Leaders". Commies have "Leaders".
One of the organizations doing great work is called 'The Alberta Prosperity Project' (not a member myself) nor are they 'The Leaders',
however,
Like 1000s of non-American non-governmental organizations aka 'NGOs' some from this particular NGO were invited to Washington to speak with members of the US government.
This is very normal, routine, done 1000s of times a year.
Why are you pretending it was something unusual or alarming or you're 'demanding answers' as if some secretive thing happened?
Does anyone have a spreadsheet of the district-level results of the Japanese election they'd be willing to share? (@Cadeyrnn?)
Asking in light of their proposals for electoral reform. I'm curious if the DPP's proposal for limited voting would make things more proportional or not
Pretty deceitful to string the Greens along with a sham process if the answer was always no. #bcpoli
BC won't be convening a citizens' assembly or re-considering changing the electoral system to proportional representation, despite an all-party legislative committee's recommendation.

Of course most countries don't put issues of minority rights like this to referendum. #bcpoli
