If you have a few quid there is a crowd funder going to bridge the current losses so the shop can stay open and carry on helping these folks out whilst securing a living for the staff and Ruth. Thanks for reading. X

Hiya. I’ve known @RuthfromCanvas for a number of years and she runs @TheCanvasCafe in London which is noted for its help to the local homeless community and also refugees in the area, in the form of free meals. It’s suffering like most small businesses. theguardian.com/business/202…
Every Friday 10-2 during lockdown @TheCanvasCafe will open our doors to give away free food & essentials thanks to @FareShareUK
There’s pasta, tinned veg, cereal, loo roll etc for those who need them in these incredibly tough times. Pls spread the word 💛

This is my follow-up letter to the Chancellor.
The most important thing now is time. We need more time to agree a deal on rents. We need an extension to the lease #ForfeitureMoratorium and we need a #NationalTimeOut.

Watching Johnson. This is despicable. Parents all over this country have abided by the lockdown rules, even while ill themselves. Hundreds of thousands managed toddlers while shut up inside cramped accommodation, purely for the common good AS THE GOVERNMENT TOLD THEM TO DO.
I’m supporting the brilliant @hopefultraders @crowdfunderuk campaign & you should too - a great ethical clothing business working with artists and creatives affected by homelessness and mental illness crowdfunder.co.uk/hopefultra…

Ignore the Fake News from Trump Supporters saying nobody turned up at the #TrumpProtests in London. As the video evidence shows, the crowds are HUGE!
Gearing up to renovate & improve our arts space at #notforprofit @TheCanvasCafe over the summer. Looking for donated theatre lights / mics / projector. Yes it's a big ask, but you gotta try, right?
