Stonewall is erasing a whole type of girl — the one who climbs trees, falls out of them and has the air knocked out of me, plays with Lego, Playmobil, and Star Wars figures instead of dolls.
I was that girl. That's not a gender identity. That's personality. Being a lesbian means being female and a woman.
There's no version of that that includes being told you're not one.

A group of schoolgirls aged 9–11 from Bicester have started a petition calling on the government to ban school uniforms from adult media. They argue that using school clothing in pornography contributes to the sexualization of young people and exploits loopholes in current laws, which only restrict depictions of those appearing under 16. The campaign urges the Prime Minister to close this legal grey area.

Hector walked into the sea on Wednesday, up to the chest, without being led, and stood in it facing out the way he has stood in it every summer for seventeen years, and Nelson watched from a dry patch above the tideline with the expression of an animal who had agreed to none of this.
The photographs came through last week. The old groom sent them with no message, as he does. The regiment had taken the horses down to the Hampshire coast for summer camp, the way it does every year when London has finished with them, and there they were, a line of Cavalry Blacks in the surf at Hayling Island, riders bareback, water to the girth, the whole black rank of them standing in the sea like a thing that had been ordered to.
Hector did that camp seventeen times. The farmer looked at the pictures for a while, and then at the horse in the field, and then rang a man about a trailer.
Twenty minutes down the road there is a beach that allows horses once the summer is over, and on Wednesday morning it had nothing on it but a dog walker and the tide going out.
Nelson came off the ramp, took one look at the sand, took one look at the sea, and did the sum, and the sum came out at the trailer. He was persuaded as far as the dry sand and no further, and he stood there.
Hector came off the ramp and stopped dead.
The farmer says it went through him the way the funeral went through him and the girl in the hat went through him. The head came up. The ears locked on the water. Something seventeen summers deep sat up inside a twenty two year old horse and said, this, I know this. And he walked, with the farmer on the end of a rope doing nothing whatsoever, straight down the beach and into the sea.
Not a paddle. In. Chest deep, the way the regiment goes in, and he stood there with the small waves coming through his legs and his eye half shut, and then he did the thing the young ones do in the photographs, which is drop his head and paw the water, great scoops of it, over and over, soaking himself and the farmer and half the bay, an old soldier at the seaside being twelve.
Nelson did not move. Nelson is a desert animal and the sea is the largest quantity of the thing he most disapproves of, and he stood on his dry patch and watched half a tonne of Household Cavalry play in it for twenty minutes without once lowering his ears.
Then Hector came out, streaming, and walked up the beach to him, and put his big wet head down over the little grey back, and Nelson took the whole of the drip without a step sideways, and turned, and walked to the trailer, and the horse went with him.
The regiment was in the sea last week for training. Hector was in it on Wednesday for nothing at all, which he has earned, and he came out to the one thing on that beach that had been waiting for him on purpose.

A sheep can pick fifty of its neighbours out of a lineup and remember them for two years, and in 2017 eight of them learned to spot Emma Watson.
The animal is the English language's word for stupid. Sheeple. Led like sheep. Follows the flock. It is the one insult the whole political spectrum agrees on, and nobody using it has ever asked a sheep to sit an exam.
Cambridge did. In 1987 Keith Kendrick found cells in a sheep's temporal cortex that fired for faces and for nothing else, the same arrangement a human brain has. In 2001 his team showed sheep photographs of other sheep and taught them which face meant food. They learned fifty faces. They recognised those faces in profile having only ever seen them face on, which is a trick a computer struggled with until about a decade ago. They held the memory for two years. And when a flock was shown a picture of a stockman it had not seen for over a year, the sheep bleated at the screen.
Sixteen years later Jenny Morton's group put eight Welsh Mountain ewes in a pen with two screens and a food reward, and taught them Barack Obama, Jake Gyllenhaal, Fiona Bruce and Emma Watson from photographs. Not the people. The photographs. Then the test: the learned face against a stranger's. Eight times in ten the sheep chose the celebrity. Then the pictures were tilted, which is where a fair bit of human face recognition falls over, and the sheep still beat chance. The paper's own conclusion was that sheep have face-recognition abilities comparable with humans and monkeys, and the reason Cambridge cares is that a sheep's brain is big enough and lives long enough to study Huntington's disease in, which is a disease that destroys exactly this.
None of it will surprise anyone who has kept them. A ewe knows her own lamb by face at forty yards in a field of two hundred. A flock knows the man who dips it from the man who feeds it and behaves accordingly. A hefted Herdwick knows a hillside its grandmother taught it, without a map. What the flock does when it moves together is a decision made faster than you could make it, by animals that have been reading each other's faces all morning.
The stupid ones were the people who spent four hundred years using the animal as an insult and never checked.

Why there is much speculation about American Claire Kellerman's dubiuos claims that her dog is an Assistance dog and why staff at the Bernera Community Café, were, in my personal opinion, quite right to reject the dog access. The bare facts here.

Scotland has well and truly rallied behind this tiny island community 👏 🏴
But the story has taken even more twists. A previous US lawsuit involving Claire Kellerman has resurfaced, another café on Lewis has now spoken publicly about its own experiences, and the controversy over taxpayer-funded legal aid has reached Holyrood.
Kellerman maintains her position, saying "the truth will set us all free."

A GOOD NEWS STORY
Outer Hebrides; that awful vexatious woman after settlement money
The fund-raising appeal by Bernera Community Association to help fight legal action raised by American Claire Kellerman has resulted in an “incredible” response and now sits at £177,000.
The story of how legal aid was stupidly granted to Kellerman has attracted worldwide attention and raised questions as to how it could have been granted in the first place.
[Some idiot's head should surely roll. Ed]
Kellerman raised the action after her dog was refused entry to the community-run cafe.
She first attempted to sue, wrongly, Bernera Community Trust, but when it was pointed out that the cafe was run by the Association and not the Trust she was allowed to transfer the action over, while still seemingly eligible for legal aid. Meanwhile, the Trust were still faced with legal fees of £7,000.
However, it has resulted in a positive outcome, the tremendous response for the Association’s fund-raising appeal.
Messages of support have arrived from people throughout the country and from right around the world, and we have received donations from people who simply want to see our community centre remain open.
In a statement today (Monday), they said: “Over the past two weeks, we have been completely overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity shown to us. Every donation, every message and every word of encouragement has helped remind us just how important this facility is to the community and how many people want to see it continue.
“To everyone who has donated, shared our appeal and offered words of encouragement or simply taken the time to think of us - thank you.

A Hero That Trusted His Intuition.
The problem wasn’t that Morgan Stanley didn’t believe him.
Rick Rescorla had already been right once. After the 1993 basement bombing of the World Trade Center, the firm’s security chief walked the towers, studied the site, and reached a conclusion most people preferred not to hear: the World Trade Center was still a target. Next time, he said, it would not be a truck. It would be an airplane.
An airplane. In a 1993 report.
Executives listened. Then they looked at the lease.
Morgan Stanley was the largest tenant in the complex—twenty-two floors of the South Tower, thousands of brokers, and a trading infrastructure that could not be packed into boxes and wheeled across the Hudson.
They literally made it a trading center.
The contract with the Port Authority ran until 2006. Walking away from premium Manhattan space of that scale would have meant penalties measured in the hundreds of millions, plus the operational chaos of relocating an entire downtown machine. So the company stayed.
Rescorla adjusted. If they could not leave the building, they would learn to escape it.
He built a protocol and treated it like doctrine. Unannounced drills. No exemptions. Brokers who billed by the minute were pulled off their desks and sent into the stairwells two by two, starting from the top floors, leaving a lane for firefighters coming the other way.
People complained. He did not care. Practice, he believed, was the only thing that would beat panic.
On the morning of September 11, 2001, American Airlines Flight 11 hit the North Tower. From the 44th floor of the South Tower, Rescorla could see the fire. Then the Port Authority came over the speakers: the South Tower was secure. Stay at your desks.
Rescorla grabbed a bullhorn and ignored them.
He started the drill his people already knew by heart. Floor by floor, two by two, down the stairs. He sang as he moved—Cornish songs from childhood, then “God Bless America”—keeping the line moving, refusing to let the stairwell become a stampede. Seventeen minutes later, the second plane struck the South Tower.
By then, most of Morgan Stanley was already on the way out.
Of the 2,687 employees in the building that morning, all but 13 survived.
It was stunning.
Rescorla could have been outside with them. He went back up instead. Colleagues told him to leave. He said he would, as soon as he was sure no one was left behind.
He was last seen around the 10th floor, heading higher.
The South Tower fell at 9:59 a.m. They never found him.
He was one of the 13.
He was a hero in every sense of the word.
Remember Rick Rescorla, he remembered for us.

“I will not call a male ‘she.’"
Thirty-two years of suffering in this androcentric society and of surviving, have earned me the title ‘woman’; one walk down the street by a male transvestite, five minutes of his being hassled (which he may enjoy), and then he dares, he dares to think he understands our pain?
No, in our mothers’ names and in our own, we must not call him sister.”

We fought for the right to vote, own property, inherit, earn and control our own money, be educated, work, divorce, refuse marriage altogether, choose whether to have children, live independently, participate in public life, run for office, and be recognised as fully human and as citizens.
Millions of women elsewhere are denied much of these freedoms.
But currently we're blowing it: We're erasing the recognition of sex where it matters to women’s rights, and we have no qualms importing profoundly patriarchal cultural and incompatible religious practices. And we can't even talk about it without being called phobic or bigots.
Our freedoms didnt arrive by accident. And we can’t take any of them for granted.

I am glad the victims of "gender-affirming surgery" are meeting, organising and fighting. The general public will only peak when they see the photos and scars and hear the stories of how these young people were persuaded they were trans. It doesn't happen in a vaccuum.

Astonishing that it needs saying but telling GNC kids that they’re probably trapped in the wrong body & need drugs & surgery to ‘cure’ them is a homophobic horror story. Young people need to hear that It’s OK To Be Gay. Conversion Practices legislation makes it harder to say so.

Humans are group animals.
Whether we like it or not, our behaviours are driven by evolution.
And for individual survival, 99.9% of people will keep their heads down, or actively support whatever the 'leaders' of the group deem to be the norm.
The picture below was taken on 13 June, 1936 at the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Berlin.
The man with his arms folded is August Landmesser.
August had a Jewish girlfriend called Irma Eckler, but under the Nuremberg Laws, their relationship was deemed illegal.
In 1937, August and Irma tried to flee to Denmark, but they were arrested at the border.
August was sent to a concentration camp, drafted into a penal military unit and killed in action in 1944.
Irma was murdered in a concentration camp in 1942.
So, you see, it's a lot easier to do nothing and to pretend that society is not falling apart because of the insane demands of psychopathic transvestite men and their equally deranged supporters.
August Landmesser chose not to conform.
And he paid for it with his life.
