Частину ракет вдалося збити. Це ще раз чітко демонструє, які справжні наміри у Росії. Вони розраховують на продовження війни, терор проти звичайних людей і знищення інфраструктури. Кожен додатковий мільярд доларів, які вони зможуть заробити на експорті, вони витратять саме на це – на пошук і завезення критичних компонентів, обладнання для виробництва зброї, на посилення «шахедів» і виробництво ракет та ще на додаткових найманців на фронт. Російський вибір – це війна. І вони будуть готові її припинити тільки тоді, коли відчують, що потенціал затягування війни скорочується. Вчора, на жаль, були зовсім інші сигнали для Росії – сигнали, що атакувати надалі начебто можна. І це потрібно виправляти. Потрібні сильні сигнали від Сполучених Штатів, від Європи, від інших партнерів. На підтримку України та на ОБМЕЖЕННЯ російської здатності воювати і тероризувати людей. Дякую всім, хто з Україною!

Some synagogue congregations rent larger facilities to manage the demand from people who wish to attend High Holy Day services. The Meridian Arts Centre in North Toronto was used this year. This is who greeted people coming to services. At least they weren't armed.

I've become a big fan of Canada in seeing how (relatively) little controversy euthanasia seems to arouse in that country despite the entire right-wing Anglosphere losing its mind over it. Canadians have the most up close experience with MAID. They know that it is a humane, rational policy that provides people in difficult situations a humane way to die with dignity. Rightists sitting in America and the UK getting their information about MAID from the Daily Mail and the New York Post are convinced that Canada is eliminating every twenty year old who comes in with a cough. But Canada knows what it is doing is right. All the data and facts are on their side. The other side has sensationalist anecdotes that fall apart under scrutiny, and paranoid conspiracy theories about Canada being the Fourth Reich and eliminating the weak and vulnerable for pleasure and profit. On that basis, they want government to force people to be indefinitely tortured. It's hard to think of many positions more disgusting than that. I'm proud of you, Canada.
