His chancellor ordered this spy plane to fly over Gaza to collect intel for the genocidal Israeli military, with the information imparted in real-time
Of course Burnham doesn’t want an inquiry. His number 2 belongs in the Hague. We will not stop exposing the Labour génocidaires
NEW: Andy Burnham has officially rejected Jeremy Corbyn's call for a public inquiry into "British complicity" in Gaza.
The former Labour leader wrote to the PM in July asking him to back his Private Member's Bill for a Chilcot-style inquiry, which would look at any UK military, economic or political cooperation with Israel since October 2023.
This would include the power to question ministers on the supply or use of weapons, surveillance aircraft and Royal Air Force bases.
The idea was rejected by Starmer. The govt have confirmed in response to a written question today that their position remains unchanged under Burnham, saying an inquiry isn't necessary due to the "extensive mechanisms already available for parliamentary accountability and oversight".
Corbyn said:“Andy Burnham rightly said that the last Labour government “got it wrong” over Gaza. But his words will mean very little if he doesn’t break with the last government’s shameful record of complicity, secrecy and evasion.
"Many of us will remember in the aftermath of Iraq, the government of the day spent many years resisting attempts to uncover the truth. In the end, they could not prevent the inevitable. Just like Iraq, we will remember those who obstructed the path to justice."

This report is ridiculous.
Ask any Black/Asian pupils if they have experienced racism.
That won't be 3/5 it will be 5/5.
But that's not a crisis that doesn't need any action.
What nonsense.

Why did the BBC say “questioned” rather than “interviewed”?
The answer is that the BBC launders Israel’s genocide, and does so to the point that they'll frame an interview with an anti-Zionist Jewish politician like it's a police interrogation.

Just once, I’d like the BBC to centre a Palestinian whose family has been displaced and slaughtered in the name of zionism, instead of someone whose feelings are hurt because a British party called zionism, a racist ideology, racist.

“I am a Jewish woman being called antisemitic. I don’t think you would sit here & lecture somebody of any other religion or race on what counted as bigotry or racism towards them in the way you have explicitly called me antisemitic..I don’t think you would do that
The British establishment is telling us this isn't racism.
Israeli Knesset nominee Omer Waldman has called for removing Gaza’s population through Egypt, by sea, or via Ramon Airport, describing Israel’s supposed duty to facilitate their departure as a “moral duty.”
When asked where Palestinians would go, Waldman reportedly dismissed the question, saying their destination was “not our problem.”

What’s happening in France is a wake-up call to the entire world. 🌍 The cost of living keeps rising while everyday people struggle to survive. People are tired of working hard just to barely get by. Governments need to start listening to the people before frustration turns into chaos. 💯🙏🏽

Today, October 17, would’ve been Norm Macdonald’s birthday.
And I think there’s something fitting about revisiting this Conan O’Brien clip today. A fan asks for favourite Norm moments, and Conan remembers a sketch so absurdly pointless that it tells you almost everything about the kind of comedian Norm was.
Honestly, I love this one. 🧵
