Received reply to FOI request for info regarding the reinstatement of all coursework to @sqanews courses.
Four pdfs in various states of redaction, outlining discussions within SQA, but no survey returns as Section 30 exemptions have been applied.
Make of that what you will. – at Stewarton, Scotland
Have made an FOI request for summary of survey results, meeting minutes and email correspondence related to this decision.
Wonder what @MrMcEnaney thinks of my chances...🤔

Biggest issue is developing a positive relationships policy to replace our present discipline policy that is meaningful to, and valued by, staff, pupils and parents.

Anyone else frustrated by the relentless push for efficiency and practical solutions in education? As if it is some linear, technical profession with easy answers?

I'm aware that this is a real long shot, but I don't suppose anyone on Twitter knows of anywhere for long term let on #Islay? I think the answer is just no, as I have been trying to find something for months now. We only need a one bedroom flat/very small house.

It'd be great to have a pint and a blether with some lovely #edutwitter chums. – at Stewarton, Scotland
Back in the day when #teachmeet was a proper grassroots thing and #pedagoo event brought lots of teachers together, I met dozens of #edutwitter folk, and am lucky enough to count a few amongst my good friends. Looking forward to a #beermeet with some when we're able to meet again
