The last couple nights I’ve been hearing strange knocking noises coming from my street around 10:30-11, convinced someone is checking for unlocked cars (which has been on the rise here). I keep getting up in the dark and looking out the window convinced I’m going to catch them.

A significantly better way to put this could be: "You can teach someone about financial literacy & they can have the knowledge they need to succeed, but knowledge is not enough to yank yourself out of poverty. Education is important AND it's not the solution to larger problems."
