Last book event of 2024📗!✨ I’m really excited to be doing a talk at @qubelfast on Wednesday 4th December, hosted by the inspiring, lovely human that is Professor @jbarry_1966 who will be introducing me and the book (that he kindly wrote the most beautiful endorsement for).

Enjoy - Share - And respond to the consultation! 👀

It feels absolutely incredible to continue writing in this way after the publication of my first book… all with the aim of making a difference somehow. Thank you to the amazing @emckeown93 for contributing your quote on behalf of @rspb_ni 🫶

My first Opinion contribution to @irish_news 🐧!It highlights seabird decline and what we can do about it. The piece urges folks (nature novices & nerds) to respond to the Strategy via the DAERA public consultation response website, which closes on the 16th December!💚

Thank you @WWTCastleEspie for hosting me last weekend, it was such a wholesome event (with some great questions)! Thank you everyone who came - your support is everything!🙏🏻📘✨🙌🏻

Reviews on websites really help me as a first time Author, so if you’ve read my book, your thoughts would be greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻 I also just LOVE to hear what people think.

I’ve been quite poorly this week… but the upside to lying in bed unable to do much has been having the time to read heartwarming reviews and messages people have left about my book. Here’s just a few… all of which made my eyes v watery. 🥹📙🫶

I think this is the 4th time Isla has made the news?! 🤣🐾 Thank you @irish_news for this heartfelt double-page piece in your paper last week! I’m delighted that my writing has touched so many already.🩵 Does anyone recognise this picture? Clue… look at the back cover! 😉📘
